My opinion: Until touchdown its great, but its missing the engines reverse (its better in the actual version), and the sound of the wheels touching the surface.

The engine sounds are from another product - 737NG CFM Immersion Soundpack HD. We deliberately lowered the volume of engines, touchdown, groundroll to avoid any confusion since those sounds are not the part of iFly 737NG Cockpit Sound Immersion. As far as I know, iFly 737NG was updated with hi-res cockpit textures prior the release of P3D v4 compatible version. I'm not sure is hi-res version available only in P3D, or olso in FSX. For FS2004 can't tell.

You don't understand what we are trying to say. We have two soundpacks available for 737NG for P3D (iFly and PMDG). Cockpit Sound Immersion (this one) that includes cockpit related sounds, and separate 737NG CFM Immersion Soundpack, that covers engine sounds, internal/external, with reverse thrust and everything that makes engine sounds authentic. Also, reverse thrust is much louder of course when you are sitting in the passenger cabin, especially near the engines. In the cockpit, not so much. No, this soundpack is exclusively developed for iFly 737NG addon, which runs in FS2004, Flight Simulator X and Prepar3D.

Of course it doesn't, simply because it isn't A REAL ONE. :) Joke aside, you can't make any soundpack to sound exactly like the real aircraft due to many reasons. Users audio setup, users hearing, users perception and expectations, etc etc. Also, if you collecting your knowledge specifically on KZbin, how one specific aircraft sounds from the cockpit in various phases of flight, you will probably draw a conclusion that the cockpit audio environment is DIFFERENT in every single video footage. That is why we are working with 737NG pilots to determine what type of sound is the most realistic for various systems. Best regards.
