As a person with ME, I appreciate your efforts to educate ppl about these types of conditions. May I suggest that you minimise the sound effects in future videos, as they can be physically triggering for patients with sensory issues 🙂

@@LongCOVIDPhysio I was going to make the same observation. It's the pops, zooms and other sound effects that I found very difficult. It would be great if they could be removed. Listening to audio only doesn't resolve this problem. My sensory problems are not normally that bad, but these I found very problematic and exhausting. Otherwise, a great video. Though I have now realised that removing the visuals also removes the background sounds, thank you. Could it be possible to post the audio only version on KZbin as well?? Thanks for your commitment and great work you are doing.

*Thank you* for these clear concise explanations of how Long Covid affects us. In example: The power level indicator being depleted took me so long to figure out how to explain "the tank is empty" In that I tried but the drama I encountered drained me too far, I'm done for today. It also explains how quickly things change and we have to adapt, delay or work differently to accomplish what we need to. Trying hard to control Long Covid makes us appear *normal* when we are really just barely hanging on, this is the cruel part. It leads to disbelief, skepticism and patronizing by others on the "real effects" of this disability...yes it is a disability and I have serious doubts if I can ever recover most of what I lost, or ability to adapt everything that has gone wrong. I am tired of this condition, tired of the uphill battle put up by friends, family and the world. When things go South, the stress of it drains my energy and I become instantly fatigued and must sleep. Days and days of sleep do not replenish me and I'm saying it can be 22 out of every 24 hours, and still never enough sleep, a vicious cycle on itself.

Thank you so much for this video. My personal experience with Long Covid since March-April 2020 has been extremely difficult. Many don't believe you, as your video explains. Even many NHS staff don't want to believe you. And having lost my employment, now trying to navigate the benefits system is a mammoth task believe me! Again, thank you for the video, and let us hope many will see this type of resources so that understanding from others may grow.

@@Rose_19911 Sorry to hear you are so unwell!! I tried Ozone Therapy in 2021, which help me improve substantially for several months. However, it seems that more sessions were needed to avoid relapsing. At the moment I am quite unwell, but at least not as unstable as initially in 2020. Having said that, I have a friend who was able to afford different sets of sessions of this therapy during 2022 and 2023 and she is nearly 100% back to her normal self. I also met others who improved very substantially with Hyperbaric Chamber Oxygen Therapy. Again the improvement was nearly 90% back to normal. If you can afford any of these 'alternative' treatments, maybe you can research them a bit and see if they could be an option for you? Every blessing in the recovery process!!

Great videos. Please include 'education' as relevant for children & subtitles need edits as not consistently accurate transcription of spoken word.
