I appreciate the education and the info on the current situation the watch industry is facing. Glad all of you at SWC are doing well, and I think it was the right call to postpone the launch a month. The time is both good in giving reviews time to get the word out, and also in you making any refinements with the sports watch. The SWC sports watch is worth the wait imo!

It is definitely a crazy time in the watch industry right now. It isn't being shaken up as much as some industries, but it is definitely being affected. I do think having time to get reviews done will be a good thing to help potential backers make decisions! We are also absolutely using the extra time to prepare the sport watch for not only the launch but production as well! I hope you are having an excellent weekend Daniel and you haven't been hit with any crazy heat like we are getting out here right now!

The ability to scale in an agile manner will be another critical factor. Many smaller brands don't have this methodology built into operations. It takes a mature business to achieve that

Thanks Peter! And you are absolutely right. Scaling makes all the difference in the long run.

Interesting video. I also enjoy Micro-Brands because I just feel you get alot of value for your money. I backed the Timor Heritage field watch just when all these shutdowns started, but the watch production is coming along nicely and they just received the first batch of movements from Selitta early, so that is a good sign. Thanks again guys. Brian.

Thank you Brian, Microbrands definitely offer some unique value as well as design propositions. I am glad to hear your experience has been great thus far with the Timor Heritage! It is a great looking piece.

I’m not too familiar with your company but I just started researching it and I was just wondering, are your watches 100% made in Switzerland by your company (excluding the movement) or are any parts made elsewhere? Personally I don’t mind but I was just curious about it.
@swisswatchcompany17104 жыл бұрын
Welcome Jay! And that is an excellent question. Our watches are not 100% made in Switzerland. We actually did a video on this topic a while back as we like to be transparent and make it clear we follow the laws to be Swiss Made but will not try to pretend to be 100%. The video discusses what it means to be Swiss Made as well as which countries outside of Switzerland are used for what components in the Swiss Watch industry. Here is the link if you want to give it a watch: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHXKnZ-Yg5h4fJI
