I travel a lot and my job requires me to to go different place every few months. I’ve been using Mac Air because most windows laptops couldn’t beat it’s perfomance and battery life. Imo its worth to compare them as long as they cost the same. So , if the windows laptop provides more for the same price, then it is potentially a better product even if the other one isnt at its full potential, because then you gotta pay much more. That said, this is not the case since... that windows laptop costs more than the mac. A 699$ macbook m1 air is slower but still outperforms (in some specific appliactions) this windows laptop because of optimization. Arm windows needs more to compete.

@@beboprovina I use my machine to draw building plans on AutoCAD...and make data base web applications as well as make 3d drawings of mechanical parts for.machine,.run a server, Creates and run virtual.machines and of course release stress after a long day at work playing videogames as well.as having the option to.actually add expandable storage and ram...this requires an actual machine with a good gpu and processor not an overated Apple device with an underpowered mobile phone SoC 🤡🤮 that dumb girls like because it has a an apple logo go cry in the corner isheep,

Windows sucks ass though. What makes MacBooks good is that the hardware and software are both great. But Windows is a nuisance to use. On top of that, I have to be worried about Microsoft tracking everything that I do. No thanks. I’m excited about the new chips though.

Some people just don't need that great computational performance of a MacBook (in certain aspects). For me it's kinda unbelievable to pay such a huge amount the MacBook costs, just for battery. What a world.
