@@imperatur You can actually connect metro stations underground with pedestrian paths and cims will use the paths to make a line transfer. In the metro station model, there is a small path node that is perpendicular to the staircase 6.25meters down. I've found that it's easiest to connect to the node by turning off all snapping.

I think that an express service that goes from the university to the dowtown and then to the other without stopping would be utilized a lot, as a begillion people are bound to want to go between the high density centers and the students would be fairly happy with a fast service, especially those living in the downtown further away from the uni. Love the build btw, as always top quality!

Connecting service tunnels are now a thing with depots, that's cool. I wish there were more options for metro stations though, more platforms in the same station, changing the depth of the platforms, modular stations to build a true metro hub. Although there seem to be some hidden feathers as MrMtanz pointed out, the options are still quite primitive.

Ahh... realistic metro comes to New Hamburg! (Or whatever the name turns out to be). Great build fella. Line Tool and Tree Controller make a great combo but maybe click the "dice" icon? It stops the lines looking like plastic trees where they're all the same with identical aspects. You may also want to try out the landscaping tools mod... the things you can do with surfaces! And the mod makes it so much easier than using the asset picker.

I've gone all historical plantagenet with name ideas today. So the fort/port city i thought could be Beaufort. This also suggests Somerset and Dorset as subdivisions. Plus the port area as Portcullis 😋 The other city therefore would be Lancaster, allowing Leicester and Derby subdivisions etc. Perhaps with a White Rose Park

With the new high-capacity metro trains you don't need that much trains to serve a line. So it's not really necessary to build 2 stations for intersecting lines. Just meet the lines at one station and cims can change lines without leaving the station.

I dunno if subways are meant for huge 200k+ cities but i built a similarism subway like in this video one circle line looping the city ans another one going straight through the middle connecting the center to the outskirts It gets quite low ridership so did i do something wrong or are subways just op? You need to know the demand and route for transport. First, you build bus lines. When you see that buses are full at a couple of stops you add trams there. But not just copy the bus line. When trams are full somewhere you start to build a metro. You can use the hub system when buses and trams go locally and the metro connects all habs, Train stations, and Airports. Just study some European city public transport maps.
