That book states, in the same chapter nonetheless, that Inceptors dropping from orbit had become a thing the enemy learned to expect, since the Indomitus Crusade had been grinding on for over a century, yet that same enemy still doesn't know how Repulsors work. Any other traitor Legion, save for Alpha Legion, is so splintered and negligent, I'd believe it, but Iron Warriors are, for the most part, pretty much what they had been during Heresy. A Legion. All the various warbands should know this stuff. Maybe the Iron Warrior in question knew that they are fucked and decided to take his chances for the power armour withstanding the pressure for at least one second, long enough for an astartes to detobate the melta charge.

The Imperium has several tanks that are within serve of all military branches, but as always the Space Marines have the best of the best tanks that any forge world could ever produce. Gravitic Battle Tank is by far the most powerful forms mobility and no obstacles can truly slow these tanks. I've played most xenos armies at one point or another. Currently running: Eldar soup, Black Templars and Mechanicus. I've been recently combining BT and mech but with 9th, maybe not. Nids were my first army, those genestealers, warriors, tervigons and trygons rack up points, that's why I was asking. I miss them sometimes but I'm really getting into mechanicus, exciting times for the game.

i can accept the new tanks, think i acutely quite like the Repulsor, but i don't like the restrictions of passengers. i can accept that Primaris can't fit inside of Rhinos and Razorbacks, but if the vehicle can fit terminators and centurions (looking at the land raider) then Primaris should be able to fit in there. Likewise if a Repulsor can fit the massive PRimaris then there is no reason a firstborn marine can't fit inside

I recall one of the recent novels had the Iron Warriors facing off with some Primaris of a chapter whose name eludes me; it was interesting to see one of the most "clear-headed" Chaos legions face against new blood and gadgets. Of note is one legionnaire making the mistake of thinking the Repulsor is "merely" a-grav, jumping under it with a melta charge - only to immediately get smooshed. Always wonder that happened. Guess we both finally understand the gravity of the situation.

I am huge fan of the Gravtivic tanks! When the Impulsor came out I wasn't crazy about the design. But over time it grew on me and became one of my favorite tank. I just finished my Dark Angles Impulsor, and I have plans to build at least 2-3 more of them. I loved this episode and I am excited to see where things go from here with your lore. The guy who jumped we he the Cardinal from Word Bearers episode or was that a different guy?

The Primarchs were spread out through out the universe while they were will babies in the pods. All the terran born Space marines for each chapter were good to ok-ish. How ever when the Primarchs were reunited they changed the culture and the recruited from the worlds that they landed on. If they were all born and raised by the Emperor as planned things might have gone much better.

Wooo been busy for near 2 weeks come back to like 6 Baldermort vids! I recall in the Dark Imperium book they crushed Space marines under a repulser grav tank. I think they are missing out on a good strat with those. Why shoot when you can rapidly crush people under intense gravity. Just a giant armored box no guns just crushing enemy.
