As all humans have a small apart of psychic energy but no true means to tap into it unless forced by external means. Well, we know Orks have psychic abilities but no clue how they work. They just do it. So Yarrick seen as an unkillable human. Able to even wield the equipment of an Ork Warboss. He is rather terrifying and a thrill for an Ork to go up against. Meanwhile, to humanity. Yarrick is blessed by the Emperor himself. To be the sword and shield. To be the bedrock to ground on against the strongest Xenos. To some degree. I would not be surprised that Yarrick is unaware that he is his own Waugh field around him. That he can do all he does is not because of mere luck. Rather because humanity believes he can do it and reality bends around him. Does this diminish Yarrick's greatness? Hell, no. To me makes him more badass and extremely unique with this theory. As this theory could also be seen with the Emperor of Mankind. As to how he achieved to much. Yet in his hubris. He fell as he lost the faith of so many and his power drained. To now sitting on the Golden Throne. To which thousands are sacrificed to keep him a live. As he needs his "Waagh" energy. I mean what if we got the Orks to believe the Emperor can live? All to have one big fight. No, we should not risk it. Terrible thought.

When Fulgrim was brought before his sons, there were around 200 left but not even 100 years later over 30k are able to assault Terra and that's after culling a third of their legion and suffering further losses throughout the hersey.

Recruiting and genecrafting 60,000 astartes in the great crusade would be significantly easier than recruiting 6,000 in the 41st millennium. But now the smurfs have papa smurf back and the unforgiven have their super secret daddy back, as well as the primaris. So things are looking up on that front, point is that isn’t that unbelievable.

As a member of the Ordo Xenos, I am often surprised by the incompetence and overconfident of Imperial Commanders when facing the Greenskins. The Orks are by far the most deadliest species that mankind has ever encountered, but many in the Imperium often ignored or neglect them and often pay the price. The Orks are cunning brutal and brutally cunning, and many Orks Empires stood strong against the Chaos Storms and several new Warboss’s have risen to create hundreds of Waaarghs, but these are the making of a new BEAST the one of which brought the Imperium to it’s knees. These are truly troubling times if the Orks truly unite to plunge the Galaxy into a never ending war, all for the favor of their twins Gods.

I wanted there to be a real loss for the imperium, personally. There needed to be a loss worse than nameless numbers, but a name that would've left fans wrenching. I wanted Thraka to kill Ragnar. I hope this is only the beginning for the orks, because it just looks like more of the same. Everything leads to a stalemate, and the greatest ork alive was killed. Yeah he came back, but so did ragnar. There really wasnt a decisive victor, and I'm kinda bummed orks keep getting the finger for lore. But you always do even the most mediocre lore incredible justice. Thanks Baldermort, for more awesome stories.
