When it comes to the Primarchs I can usually sum them up in a single word. Sanguinius=Valor, Lionel=Stoicism, Vulkan=Kindness. When it comes to Roboutte, the word that comes to mind is Duty. Always busy, always working, always stressed by the pursuit of true Victory. Yet he never seems to mind it that much. I think a part of him enjoys it. He likes working in a way he finds purpose and meaning. It’s why the fandom have grown to affectionately refer to him as Bobby G the Taxman.

I’m posting here, you are my witnesses. My theory is that Yvraine and Roboute Guilliman Actually had an Alliance and relationship in 30k. I’m gonna do a deep dive video on it soon. Summed up, GW left tons of breadcrumbs everywhere throughout the books, including Yvraine risking everything to save him, her being the one to approach humanity about her plan exactly when Cawl finished the armor of fate. Her mentioning to her people that G-man was not like other humans, and he could be trusted. So many timelines and motivations and references to relationships that match up. statements from Yvraine OK and Ulthred talking about working with humans long ago, mentioning they almost had an alliance and with humanity and were close to beating chaos until fate intervened (Gmans coma) Also, G-mans (plan and reasoning which is flawless )for fighting Fulgrim being so stupid it makes no sense unless you add my theory. How about the fact that G-man lost his memory after he was hit in the neck, has no memories of escaping or being carried out and all the imperial records of the incident are completely scrubbed even after he searched so he could see the fate of his marines. A Primark with perfect memory that remembered all of his dreams in the stasis field, Who can literally replay his memories like a hollow vid implant (the Marines use to debrief.) Who detected and killed Alpha Legion, master assassins dressed as ultramarines because he noticed one ( out of six) carried his Bolter 3mms to high and stepped lighter than his men somehow cannot recall anything after the knife touched him but he was healthy enough to help his men escape through a legion of chaos marines. Please don’t tell me his men got him. They were completely surrounded. His men were damaged and Gman weighs double and doesn’t fit under 12 foot airlocks and beaming didn’t work Because they were too deep in fulgrims layer. Someone was brilliant enough to talk his marines into putting him into a Necron stasis field… that would’ve been heresy to these marines as well as they would’ve never thought of it. Also, his ship despite being damaged and outnumbered, and without his leadership miraculously escaped. And out ran an angry Fulgrim who could go in and out of the war at will, 25 feet tall with six arms, wolverine healing and Could operate his entire ship with his mind… Sorry, but somebody saved him. Doesn’t it stand to reason Yvraine and GM had an alliance they couldn’t tell anyone about because both sides hate each other and they didn’t know who was chaos… G-man had talked about getting all of his ultra Marines and lure all of chaos into one singular battle. The last thing they would be expecting when they have the last Legion surrounded and about to finish the job is all the craft worlds including 30ish million Eldar With the only ships that could decimate the chaos fleet easily. All the sudden chaos would be between the Ultra Marines in space on one side and the Eldar Fleet on the other With no planetary fleet support any longer and no means to escape because the Eldar can close portals. In other words, it would’ve been the final battle. But before they could announce the Alliance, Roboute Guilliman for some stupid reason, rather than running picked fight with way more ships and a demon prince supposedly to save his ship and his men… except the entire time from his point of view, he knows he’s going to his death. so how can he save his ship and his men if he knows he’s going to die in a trap? This is where my speculation comes in. G-man and Yvraine actually were in love. She was working as the emissary for the Eldar council. Uthred was trying this last plan before he would go along with the Cabal plan to wipe out humanity. She was meeting G-man to update him and give him intelligence when Fulgrim randomly attacked. Later in the book Fulgrim Says GMan was not the tactician. He thought he was apparently and he knew he was stalling for time but didn’t understand because it was hopeless…. Roboute Guilliman couldn’t bring her to warp because she’s too powerful and would light up like a Christmas tree to Fulgrim and demons. The only Geller field strong enough for her is a dwarf one. That’s why they never retreated. He was trading his life so the alliance could go on and he could save his girl. But when he actually got cut, she took her bodyguard and his bodyguard and the rest of the Legion and led a boarding action and extracted him. But now the Alliance was spoiled so it wouldn’t be a surprise and there was no brilliant commander tolead them. So she came up with the idea to continue the Alliance in secret. Work her way up and gain a patron God. She worked with Bellasarius cow. He worked on the armor and the primarus marines while she worked with the god of the dead and raised an army. As clear as day. The crazy part that I have no evidence for, but that would be amazing is if she was pregnant. He was trying to get them out of there so bad. Then he had her wipe his memory and destroy all evidence and documents of it in the future so there was no threat to her and his son… that literally fills all the plot holes. It explains why she randomly came with fleet.

Unlike others, I have in fact, as part of my Warhammer games - fought side by side with Eldar forces. I for one applaud Yvraine's efforts to bridge the gap between Mankind and her people. Lest we forget, at one time, Humanity's previous government, the one that preceded the Imperium of Man did in fact have friendly dealings with the Eldar. And while I'm at it, the Grey Knights respectfully retrieved many of their spirits stones from the predations of the Dark Gods in a short story known as "The Ghost Halls". Furthermore, several of the Primarchs actually did voice a desire to learn from and coexist with them, once the Great Crusade was completed. And another thing, the Emperor Himself has at least some knowledge of them, their fighting styles and the means by which they use their psychic techniques during His fight with Horus, which further implies that even He had some degree of respect for them.

It would be funny, In lore, that the thing with Yvraine and Guilliman becomes an uncontrollable voice in the Imperium (and outside). Maybe after Guilliman intervenes and saves Yvraine from something else (maybe without knowing he is doing it) Voice: "She saved/resurrected him and later he saved/resurrected her. And they love each other. " Imagine the comedic potential of a chat like "Podrik & Bronn outside Brienne & Jaime's tent" And the anguish of the Custodes if one of them started dreaming about Giulliman & Yvraine's children. Not to say the effects it would have over the Eldarii seers. Instant brain stroke. It would be comedic a scene where RG and Y were attacked and they were stuck, in the end, inside an elevator (substitute with ANY very tight and enclosed space) for a very long time. Cato Sicarius and the Visarc arrive to free them and find them obviously sweating and putting back their armor. And Guilliman smiling.

I actually had an idea for a story where Guilliman and Yvraine become secret lovers and even have two kids together; Demi-Aeldari Primarchs with all the psychic potential of the Eldar and the physical prowess of the Primarchs. Oh man, I didn't realize how bad this lore was! Thank you for reading it so well, but this is terrible and inaccurate for all established Eldar lore since 2nd Edition. For example, the idea of a Exarch leaving his temple is ridiculous. The idea of Solitaires persuading any eldar from preserving ancestral souls, let alone anything else. The idea of Black Templars travelling or cooperating with Xenos and letting the Xenos approach a Primarch. What terrible writing!
