Importing PDFs & Images in GoodNotes

In today’s video I’m showing you different ways to import PDFs & Images into GoodNotes 5 on my iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil 2. Also learn some tips and tricks on how to use tools in GoodNotes.

Can you import an image, draw over top or trace it with your pencil, then delete the image leaving only the lines you draw. Great video.

Hi, your videos are wonderful and easy to follow along. Could you do one that shows how to work with png.zip and .png files with GoodNotes 5? I unzipped the file in goodnotes and they are now individual .png files but I cannot figure out how to get them in a sticker book or a planner.

The download of images into Dropbox and then trying to import them into my planner in GoodNotes is the biggest struggle I have. My images are showing up "pale" and I am unable to select them. In the top right hand corner is the download icon. I don't know what to do. I can also sometimes click in my calendar in the corner and a download option will appear. Other times I click the same area and the only option that comes up is "Zoom." Do you have any advice? It is so frustrating!

I would like to know how to cut and paste that image from you tube and put it on good notes page that I am taking notes on. on msft they have a snipping tool. how do i do that same thing on goodnotes. thanks

Neva Paris it’s actually a plain pencil grip that my daughter gave me from her stash and it’s worked like a charm! So glad you like the videos 😊

That tab switch mode was part of that sticker book, which is hyperlinked. If you use any planner/notebook that has tabs, it should work the same. I have linked in the description links of the ones I used in the video.

I have a question. When I download files on good notes that has a lot of pages, does it give the option to “select all” and delete certain file pages? On noteability you have to separately delete each page and it’s too repetitive
