Impossible Steam Boiler Problems Fixed

residential steam boilers should never be walled in making service and maintenance impossible to do. the harder something is to get to, the less likely it is done. most boiler manufacturers have minimum clearances for their units. in this case, the low water cut off probe and pressuretrol pigtail were not service for a very long time.

that "mud" looked like fine gravel. It can clog pipes. Throw it outside not down the drain.
