you're so right! One of the islands (Maui), has been restricted from watering their lawns, washing their cars and etc. also not only that, but please do not come to Hawaii right now. in the future, yes, but our cases have gone up drastically, and have been in the triple digits for the past week or so. kids are starting to go back to school next week, we are hoping to keep them in person. We locals have problems with tourists coming because of the lack of respect people have for our land and native animals (not saying that Alisha will be disrespectful), there's just a lot going on and problems that others do not see. but please feel free to come and visit the islands post covid and remember to educate yourselves and respect the culture we have :)

Definitely somewhere more remote and chill for the solo trip. Either go to a beach town or a nice cabin in the mountains! I’d definitely recommend traveling to North Carolina. One thing that made my m50 compact is using the Rode Wireless Go as my mic. I just have a little hot shoe splitter so that I can have a the transmitter and receiver on top of the camera at the same time! It can also be used as a lav, handheld, or boom mic. Doesn’t make a ginormous difference, but it is a little more compact for vlogging! I haven’t really seen anyone else talk about it, so I hope this helps!

Georgia is all in one, you can go to savannah there are beaches and islands. There’s also farm land about 45 minutes outside the city and hiking trails. Great food and lots to do!

I struggle with anxiety too and had to take a solo work trip to Orlando pre-pandemic. I had tons of free time to explore on my own, and it was actually sooo empowering! I highly recommend a solo trip! Something about being in a new place (especially a touristy one) melts away the anxiety, like these people dont know me, theyre not looking or judging, and if they were, who cares, I'll never see them again! I literally went to disney world alone, had bluetooth earphones to listen to podcasts in line, and had a great time lol. Just remember to be safe and share your location with loved ones :)

Be careful with Hopper. I used to use it all the time but when I needed to change a flight, I COULD NOT get someone to respond to help. They don’t have a call center to call someone. So needless to say, I lost my money.

We had a similar experience with hopper. Our flight got canceled and hopper didn’t notify us. The airline couldn’t help us initially and said we had to work with hopper but we couldn’t get ahold of hopper due to their lack of customer service.

regarding your solo trip, colorado is so much fun! i went on a family vacation there in august 2020 and it was actually amazing. boulder is really really cool and there's so much to do. in addition, it's really nice because you're surrounded by nature and the environment is so calming. boulder is at the base of the mountains so the weather is great and there's like no humidity.
