Would you reccomend a few books for a beginner?
@booklover-hu9tw4 жыл бұрын
@@nimrodbong8173 i would HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend reading feynman's books, you can start with six easy pieces. that book is what got me into physics in the first place. the third volume of feynman's lectures is really good for quantum mechanics. i would also reccomend for the love of physics by Walter lewin its a great book for beginners as a high schooler, ive studied from fundamentals of physics by resnick and halliday or problems in general physics by irodov. these are great for acquiring a better understanding of general physics and they do have a ton of incredible problems to give you practice. they're quite famous actually and pretty detailed, the examples given are good and they cover basically every area in physics which is why they're not super detailed about each topic and thus perfect for an absolute beginner cuz we dont wanna scare you away lmao🤣 of course you're going to need at least a basic high school level understanding of calculus and mathematical concepts because after all math and physics go hand in hand, you can't do physics without math. sorry this was so long lol i hope i was able to help:)

Can you explain to me why Joe so off on everything
@Creshex83 жыл бұрын
@@nimrodbong8173 to even consider taking up something like QM as a hobby, you’ll need to at least enroll in a STEM degree at the college level, preferably just go for a bachelors in physics, but you can choose engineering if you want something more easily employable at the BS level. Either will align you with taking formal courses that drag you through most aspects of physics. The third semester of calculus based physics will let you explore quantum mechanics and relativity.

@@annamorgan6765 the planck's constant is a scientific number
@royceisthebestrapper76863 жыл бұрын
@@annamorgan6765 in simple terms (I looked it up, I’m by no means an expert) Plancks constant says how much the energy of a photon increases every time the frequency of its electromagnetic wave increases by 1. The actual equation I’m guessing is what’s known as plancks constant by definition, being the equation to determine that energetic increase.

I am a scientist,yes,I am crazy because I cannot stop watching this episode,but what people dont know is that when Joe was asked about the Plank constant, the reply that he gave was not that far fetched, Max Plank,a German scientist of the 1900"s came up with a formula that in principle states that while everything in the Universe revolves around other things,his formula (equation) stays unchanged allowing scientists to have a constant way to measure (quantize) infinitesimal distances among other things.
