Love these! Never used sour cream in mine. I'll give it a try. I use a salad spinner to soak and hold the potatoes in cold water. Makes it easy to rinse and drain a couple of times and also spin dry. For those who don't have a mandolin or feel uncomfortable using one the food processor with a slicer blade works great. Happy Thanksgiving!

I am considered one of the most observant people around. But when you said shiny side up I had to stop and go check my foil. All 3 brands had a very slight difference. Reynolds pre-cut sheets the most. In 48 years I have NEVER looked at the other side. How it comes off the roll is how it's going down. Thanks for adding to my OCD. :)
