Many of your phrases, brands of ingredients you use, cookware(era), etc are so similar, it's like stepping into my mom's kitchen again. And OH MY GOODNESS! Your bechamel! Your bechamel is the best I've ever tasted. So good, It deserves the full spelled out words, not the acronym OMG 😆. We loved the potatoes and are now using the bechamel in everything. Even flavoring with things like tomato paste to use as a cheesy pizza sauce base on our home made pizza roll ups. Thank you so much for what you do!

Best cooking channel on KZbin and I think I have watched almost all of them. You’re tutorials are perfect because you focus on your delicious food and not yourself like most do. Thank you always and hope more people find your channel 🌸

I'm on my way to the kitchen now. I have a beef casserole in the slow cooker and these cheesy scalloped potatoes will go so nicely with it. Was going to do just plain mashed potatoes but now that I have seen this lovely recipe. Thanks for this recipe Rachel, it's one of the nicest I've seen for scalloped potatoes.

I watched how you 'nursed' your rue until it became golden brown. No doubt, that added an extra dimension of flavor. Also, you didn't rush adding all the cheese at once. Such a great method. Oh, they look sooo wonderful. The onions! Super special. These cheesy potatoes would be great served over a plate of steamed broccoli. Yum. I bet some Durkee fried onions would take the dish over moon. Beautiful dish!

Thank you so much, you're right, the trick is to take it slow and let everything come in together beautifully, great suggestion on the onions, sounds delicious to me. Thank you so much for your words my friend. ❤
