I only tried a 90s version of Knowing and it was quite animalic to me. Might be aging though. I would try this if there's ever a chance. I get what you mean by high definition. Do you think the notes/ accords smells of good quality*? *based on your personal parameters

I picked up this set as I'm a fan of Azuree and especially Knowing so i was curious to see what they did with them. I came away thinking comparing them almost didn't make sense to me. There are nods to the older versions but they really made these their own thing. It's a great concept and they could've phoned it in revamping these but instead took care and did something really nice imho. ✌🏻

Nicely done. I agree with your description of these, except I find the squeaky clean aspects of White Linen charming. Azuree was so good, but so loud, that I tracked down a vintage EDT of Cabochard. It’s very similar but without the cumin and the volume turned down by half. Exactly what I was looking for. Bandit by Piguet is another similar one if you’re looking to add something like this to your collection but don’t want to hunt for vintage ❤

Know and enjoy a couple of the originals, but they're not really my thing, so I won't be in a hurry to look these up. Appreciate your take here though, nicely done!

I wear some older stuff but the original EL releases smelled like they were before my time. Aged too bad and fast. Still liked Azurée and Private Collection. So I would like to smell these if they got here. The price is a bit too much

Yea, even at half the price I don't think I could justify a full bottle just because it's the kind of scent profile I don't see myself wearing a lot. That coffret of minis, however, looks mighty cute!

I smelled the azuree and thought it was really nice but I'd rather spend that money on a vintage

Yea, I think they have a real positioning problem in who is this for? Vintage heads are going to want the vintage version while people like me would rather spend that kind of money on something current, from Frederic's own line for example. I can't see it working unless they play a REALLY long game and keep these in production until stock of the older versions dries up or becomes prohibitively expensive.
