Using the ball detents was genius for this knife. No traditional spring to get gritty and dirty. The steel is aggressive. It cuts very well and stays sharp! Love mine!

Nice. The biggest complaint we get is it slips out of lock easily. Have you run into any issues with that so far?

@@Northernknives No. Since I use it like a slipjoint I dont put any reverse pressure on the blade towards the folding side. I think it locks open fine now but I wouldnt want it to get weaker by getting dirty or the ball detent wearing out. Time will tell.

PSS... I would suggest putting a little LED light over the table to light up the knives a little bit.

The one and only thing I do not really like on the ZT0230 is the marking on the ‘clip side‘. This ruins the otherwise clean look of the blade.

The blue back spacer is the only thong that wrecks it for me.

I felt the same way originally. A grey, similar to the blade, seemed more appropriate. Now I love the blue backspacer and I'm pretty sure that grey would have been pretty boring.
