I've watched dozens of mac and cheese recipes and this is the first one that I think I'm going to like just by looking at the finished product. After it's baked we can see it's creamy, but firm, no some stringy greasy soupy mess. THIS one looks good.

I made this for Easter, and it was probably the best macaroni & cheese we ever had. Thank you for providing this recipe. I have some leftover because there were only 3 of us. Will be great the next couple of days! I used whole milk instead of cream. It turned out exactly like the video. All other mac & cheese will never live up to this.

It freezes so well too. I cut my leftovers in squares and freeze them individually wrapped so I can take out a piece whenever!

This reminds me so much of how my grandad used to make his! I add a bit of Italian Seasoning, onion powder, salt, pepper. The key to his was he would over season his milk a bit because when you add the eggs and pasta, the seasoning/salt will be reduced.

Girl! This looks so good! I love the consistency. I love the balance between the moisture cheese and egg. This is what I’m used to at my thanksgivings with my family. It was hard to find this kind of southern mac & cheese. But you did the thing! I’m just about to put my version in the oven. I did add flake salmon and chopped up broccoli to kick up the nutrition for mine.
