Dear English for Everyone, I’ve been studying English for sometime now, and I want to start studying advanced grammar. I was wondering if you could recommend a book for self study for American English learner.

Dear teacher, I really appreciate what you are doing, your lessons are very useful. Could you please explain the difference between "presume" and "assume"?
@fredylopez24772 ай бұрын
I'm not Kevin but if you allow me : ASSUME" = suppose to be the case without proof. - it also means, to take or begin to have power or responsability. - it also means, acquire, to take on. "PRESUME", suppose something is the case on the basis of probability.

Just one question, how do you know where to find those movie clips? , I mean when they say the exact word you are teaching. It seems a lot of editing work.

Hi! I'm from Brazil and I would like to ask you a question, I was taught to pronounce "ing" as in /pen/, example, I am going, /go en / but I noticed you pronounce it like/ go een/ with the sound of a long "ee" , was I taught wrong or is it possible too?
