This was a terrific workout! I have never done barre before and it was gentle enough and yet challenging for my tight hips. The stretching was wonderful! Thank you very much Jules! This will be a go to workout.

This took me back to my youth and ballet class although I remember the jumping up and down, 'jetes' movements. It was great for cardio but I don't think my 68 yr old self could handle that now! 😂 So thanks for another fantastic workout Jules with no jumping!

My girls are in ballet and they often talk about how sore their legs are after a practice...definitely good for the leg muscles!

Oh my. I thought this work out was so easy so i did another 20!minute workout and at the end my legs where shaking lol. And today ouch!!😂 certainly has lasting effects. Good to change it up lol. Thank you so much for all you do with the workouts.

"Everything is hard before it is easy" -- spot on. Squats used to be dreaded, no longer. However, that having been said, wagering my legs will feel this tomorrow. This workout is the equivalent of your biceps burn . . . for legs!

@@ImprovedHealth Thanks to you, Jules, I actually incorporate squats throughout my day, e.g.: while filling up my 2 gallons watering can, blow-drying my hair, brushing my teeth . . . I do kegels then, also thanks to you. P.S. I would have lost my wager. Legs feel fine so far this morning. 😊

Great exercises. I enjoyed Ballet as a child & I had all 4 of my daughters in ballet for 5 years. Barre is excellent for muscles. Thank you so very much😊. Including weights is great.

"Everything is hard, until it's easy." Well, I thought I was pretty good at squats, but holding those plie squats was really challenging! I'm going to keep practising though, and if this workout ever becomes easy, I'll let you know!😁

I liked this very much. I definitely used it as a balance workout. Nice to have different moves. I also felt my quads working (!), which reminded me to engage my glute muscles to help out, so that was good too. Thanks for offering this, Jules.

Another great workout, although I think I would have titled it, "Quads and arms"! I'm 65. I love your workouts and have done them faithfully for years. I did find it important to add arm stretching after finishing your leg stretches, especially since the arm/wt section gave us zero breaks -- haha! Loved it! Thank you :)

Jules! What a great workout!! The barre workouts are not easy but I love the way I feel when I do them! I hesitated before starting because my calves are really sore from weekend activity, but they feel better now than before I started. Thank you!

Thank you! Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'intermediate level' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.

Very pleasant workout...I have mobility and balance issues, but found this relatively easy to do (used my cane for support at times, just for safety)...and that first song was quite pretty.

Modifications are definitely welcome! I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all in the playlists. This is a tough workout if you haven't worked out in a while so kudos to you for trying it! If your legs are feeling it tomorrow, a nice gentle walk will help to loosen up your legs.

Thanks so much Jules for all your videos . I'm not into doing exercises with a chair but even so I'm very grateful that you dont stop uploading videos . I'm doing exercise at home for more than 10 years so I normally go for the fastest or more difficult exercises (not very extreme because I hurted my knees in the past and I have to be careful ) can you please point me which ones are the best for me from all your workouts ? I imagine is the level 3 , but if you can tell me if you have more available ( that kind ) I would be so happy ! .... thanks a lot again and here , supporting your great channel ❤

I’m back after a long break I’m sorry i couldn’t finish this workout I was tired fast heart my legs and arms felt so weak I’m felling terrible about this I really hope I can change my overall fitness level thank you so much for this channel

Hi Margaret, this is a tough workout if you are just starting back after a break. My suggestion is to go to the gentle level playlists and start with those workouts. They are perfect for just starting back. Over a few weeks you'll get stronger and can look at the more challenging workouts. Be kind to yourself! You're here and wanting to work out which is awesome but starting back slowly is super important. You'll bounce back quickly:)

This was great, but it's missing one part in the beginning when there is the set of the leg going each way, on one side, but didn't happen on the other side.

Someone informed me of that yesterday, too. I'm so sorry about that. Once the video is up, I can't take it down to edit it without redoing the entire video. If you do the workout again, please add in an extra set for the other side. I may just take the video down since I definitely want the workout being balanced on both sides.

I have lots of 'all-in-one' workouts which include strength, cardio, balance and stretching so it would be hard for me to know which one it was. But, if you know if it was a beginner or intermediate level, you can go to the playlists under 'all-in-one' workouts and look for it in the playlists.

I think it's actually called, 'So Long'. It's tough to find the music, though, since I use a fitness based music provider which I pay to use on YT. The provider is called 'Power Music'. They do have some of the music on Spotify, but not a lot of it.
