I'll be honest. My journey started Tuesday. I finally had enough. No smoking, no alcohol - cold turkey and working out daily for at least 30 minutes. And I picked up a couple books from my local library. Fingers crossed. Wish me luck.

Just pick on habit and try to do it for a month. Read a book on fitness. Then the next month, try to apply acquired skills. Then read a book on meditation. Or you could start working out like I did and building your ego and then you’ll be happier during the day and try to improve yourself.

I started my fitness journey, in 9 days it have already changed my life. Literally i was unemployed for 3 month, one day decided to make a change and went to the gym, 1 week later I felt like this Will power out of nowhere and went out there and got myself a job. As Always, great videos!

Me too.:) Ever since I started going to the gym 2 times a week (7+ months now) and go to work in regular hours (9 to 5, instead of afternoon and night shifts) I feel so much better and confident. No more sleep problems, I don't feel tired when I wake up, don't have that much acne anymore, I became calmer, attended many new events, parties and made new friends...I should have started this years ago. I think that people who say that they are too tired to go to the gym after work, are actually tired because they don't go to the gym :P
@essennagerry
@essennagerry 7 жыл бұрын
klauseba After experiencing the effects of exercise for myself, I do suspect that people who say they're too tired to work out are too tired because they don't. Unless they have some really crazy and physically demanding schedule. :D Then I can see it, haha. But for me - I knew it wasn't normal to get tired so easily, even though it felt incredibly natural. I suspect a lot of people are in that situation.

Joe Kinsella your udnerstaning is understandable from the perspective you wrote.. I used to feel the same tbh but there is so much more than meets the eye and its only your choice how you percieve reality around you. You either are depressed because of your believe system (which doesnt need to be right, because ultimatelly what we "know" is really only what we believe we know) or you can enjoy life with mindset that allows you to live life beyond the realm of thinking where all this doubt and self-sabotage dwells. Just something to think about:)

I am so relieved to hear you say to pick only one habit to work on at a time because what I realized was, exactly what you mentioned, that I would get overwhelmed and relapse. The habit that I am choosing to build first is meditation. I feel that once I develop that into an automatic habit then it will eventually lead me to a path of lesser resistance toward the other two. Thank you so much for you time and effort on this course. Many of us really needed this.

It didn't make much difference but my mood improved and I lost 3 kg of my weight only by spending 1 hour walking around the streets and chatting with my mom. Since then, I experienced less mood swings even when I didnot get time for walking. Physical exercise is always effective to improve your mood. From this session, I would like to meditate daily.

This is something I needed to hear, this is the exact moment I needed it. I need to change something about myself. I spiraled down too much in bad habits (social networks, internet in general, staring at the screen, etc.) and my time doing nothing is irreversibly lost. I want to be better dad, husband, and person in general. I chose to commit to this program. I do feel tired most of the time, am a bit overweight, so first habit I am going to adopt is going to be fitness habit.

Hi Improvement Pill. You probably wont see this, but I wanted to let you know how much i appreciate your channel. When i was 14, i was addicted to pmo. Because of that, i was unmotivated, had social anxiety, and thought of myself as a low quality person overall. I came across your channel and discovered Nofap. You videos instantly captured my attention and motivated me. I then saw this video, and started implementing these habits into my life. After implementing what I've learned from your videos, I can easily say that I'm a different person. I have so much confidence, know my purpose long term and short, and genuinely love social interactions. I honestly couldnt have done it without you. Thank you so much.

I've been going strong this cycle for over a month. I've been exercising and eating well for the past few years, and reading for the past few months, so meditation would be my weakest link now. So I'm gonna focus in on meditation for this course -- and specifically dedicating 10 minutes every day to a sit down meditation, as recently I've just been copping out and only spending a minute or two each day to actively meditate (although I make it an intention to be mindful throughout my day).

For me it’s definitely going to be meditation. I want to become a more happy and positive person, as it will have great effect on me and the people around me. Also, the benefit of having a better focus would come in handy, even though I don’t necessarily have a problem with it. Thank you for your videos mate!

I will be starting out from day after tomorrow since tomorrow is a 6hr exam. I always try to stick to fitness but end up mid way. So definitely not fitness for now. Will focus on meditation first for 3 weeks. Have always been an avid reader but i have lost the ability and focus to finish books now. Will try to get to it once my meditation habit forms.

Been trying to change myself for so many times, tried to grow up that i lost count and couldnt even count it all, but i still fail constantly and seem to always do horrible in every concievable way no matter how hard i even try to change the way my life goes. I tried to change once but i ended up hurting myself and seeing even more negativity back again. I don't seem to be like myself back then, someone happy, helpful, nice, not rude, friendly, having so many of great friendships, knowing alot, happy thoughts and just completely positive.

@@KimronGilbert So well that it still blows my mind. I consider meditation and exercise to be absolutely essential to living a full and happy life. It's truly indescribable just how effective they are. It's not like they are magic silver bullets for all problems, but I'd say they're close to the next best thing, lol. Having said that, I suppose that it's worth mentioning that I eat an exceptionally healthy diet compared to most, and I have eaten this way for many years now, so even though I consider it to be my baseline, I do recognize that my dietary choices have had an immense effect on my well-being as well.

I don't have any idea that reading, meditation and fitness were keystone habit. Reading was already a habit of mine since I was young. Also I started to study anything about yoga. I started 3 or 4 years ago, though it was just a self-study, yoga is a part of my daily life since then. And right now, I am researching/studying about the meditation and end up finding this channel. I find it kind of weird it's like a coincidence. 🤔🤔🤔 Though, I'm glad to find this kind of video.
