The amount of "we can do this cheaper, and this is why" is the reason this is the best channel. This channel gives me the motivation to get back out to the garage and make some progress on my 70 Charger.

Chris, those Titanium bolts will end up eating the steel around them. Its due to dissimilar metals causing electrolytic action. Titanium will eat just about any metal it touches, the less noble metal the quicker it will disappear.

I love watching your channel, Though I'm more into euro stuff and will probably never own an American muscle car, the information presented here about body and frame structure and driving dynamics translate whatever the car brand!! The bit you did about swaybars reminded me of what the US VW guys were doing late 90's/early 00's with Mk2 and Mk3 Golf and Jettas on the Autocross... usually a set of springs and Bilsteins and a huge swaybar. Ad on the forums we would see the Euro guys just ditchin' the swaybars altogether and running coilovers and dialing in spring rates and damping. What they ended up with was a more streetable ride and better control for track days! Back then we could just drool at the setups until the goods and prices trickled down to our levels of availability and affordability!!

With the rear sway bar, with the lighter bar installed, could you put link brackets on the backside of the axle tube so you could switch the link from in front of the axle at the end of the sway bar arm, to behind the axle and the middle of the sway bar arm? That would hugely increase the stiffness of that bar. And it would give you the adjustability you were looking for

Chris, how do you feel about coming to Michigan and helping me get my first car on the road again? Its a 1970 Olds 442 roller and i got all the parts. Been going thru alot of health problems and its been seemingly impossible for me to stay on point lately. Im 55 and owned the car since 1983. Kinda like Frieburger i still got my garden variety but still cool 1970 first car/muscle car. His is way nicer than mine but i do have a 620hp normally aspirated Olds 462 on a dolly ready to go near the car. Got 2 bang shift th400 trans ready to go and the car has a 12 bolt chev with 4.30s and Mark Williams axles ready to go. Its a roller because it's been in paint jail for over 29 years. That's when life got in the way. 3 kids and a divorce later i really wanna get my car back together. Let me know if you are interested in helping.

Classic racers seem to swear by the Avons.....but like you said, they are far too short....275/60 or 295/50 that actually performed would be excellent(or even a set that will wear out before belts slip......last 3 sets of coopers). Really on a Chevy pickup, a 275/60 is almost too small. 255/70 is still the cheapest white letter... And they fit good...but I really want 50s for the 10 wide wheels.

In the 70s I bought a 383 yellow 69 Charger with origial American flower mags after crashing a 440 blue 68 Charger on a test drive through an uncoltrolled intersection as a teenager, fond memories but not for the seller of the 68 Charger. I did rebuild the Holley carburetor on the 383 which I am not sure was original, but worked., I had a lot of fun racing against my brother who was either in our mother's 68 Olds 442 or his 350 Chevy 4 speed. I beat both of those cars in my 383 Charger even though the 442 was tough but was handicapped with a 2 barrel carburetor. Mom got a lot of speeding tickets or stops in that car when we were supposed to be looking out for the CHP. I remember once getting stopped by a local CHP in my CHarger when I stank of weed and had an ounce in bulging in my front pocket, but he let me go, probably because my girlfriend's dad was also a local CHP of he didn't want to ruin my day. I liked your engine installation procedure.
