I decided to come look in the comments because I thought KZbin decided to automatically play something in the background! This gets really annoying when you have 9500+ tabs open. I seem to be hearing repeatedly at that time stamp "when you're recording most sounds". oh i see what happened, it transitions to another clip but it didn't transition the audio from the second clip. Yay I'm not going insane yet?

13:00 I usually watch at double speed, it's much safer than drinking caffeine. I think? Oh I have been adjusting it back-and-forth throughout this video and I find it interesting that it changed the pitch of the compressor but when it kicked into the second stage it didn't change the Pitch of the compressor. Fyi you also have an ID badge in shot. This might be OK this also might not be OK, It depends on the company and nefarious hackers.

I do a lot of live sound reinforcement. And I've done a handful of gymn-no-ums with live bands, it's actually quite "fun" with all that echo, reflection and cancellation. the More energy you put in the box, the more you're fighting it. if you can keep levels low in the room you get less reflections less picking up in the microphones and getting reproduced. And when you move into stuff that can be post processed you have a whole lot more options to work with and this was a great video demonstrating all of that. but so much can be done with simple techniques before you even get into the box. I did a few sit down interviews in a dining room off of a kitchen, was never happy about the sound and it didn't quite look like it sounded. So I'm always going back into past scenarios and thinking how can I improve that. and hanging some sort of sound absorbing material out of sight out of shot would've improved things a lot and kept a lot of reflections from the staircase, windows and walls. But I don't have to deal with that job anymore, we stopped doing the pre-interview a couple years ago which was a fun kamikaze set up and I stopped doing his events a few months back. Onto a new challenge.
