Improving Workflow by Setting Up Multiple Offsets on an 8L Lathe

Expanding on the thumbscrew video from last week, Steven now takes the same part and adds an extra offset to make a second part without having to move the stock. There are limitations to this, but there is also the advantage of reducing setup time and adding some slight automation to the part creation. This might be able to improve your workflow.
Speeds and Feeds:
Turn: SFM 500, MAX 2500, RPM F0.002, DOC 0.015
Threading: S500 (feed is based on pitch for this)
Knurl: 1000 RPM, F0.002 IPR
Part Off: SFM 200, MAX RPM: 1000
Part off was F0.001

Thanks for putting out this video, it really helps just getting to watch the machines running. Have an 1100mx I've been running a small garage business with and recently purchased an 8L. I knew a lot about running a CNC mill before getting the 1100mx, so had that up and running pretty quickly, but the CNC lathe scares me a little, because I've never ran one. So the surface feet, chip load, and step over have me a little confused; and been working up the confidence to run it. Tormach is awesome, and I highly recommend your products to anyone who wants a CNC machine if their own and to start growing their own business.
