For the second explanation for the odor thing, like you said in your previous video the animatronics aren't ever cleaned and would smell really bad, the problem I had with your original theory was that the people working there would be used to the bad smell of the animatronics and would be able to recognize that Michael's smell is coming from the animatronics, however under the assumption that they were giving warnings for things no one would actually care about, if Michael did smell like the animatronics, the employees wouldn't care about his smell because they would smell it all the time

Amazing video and definitely one of the better "Sister Location Timeline" I've heard. I'd like to add that the people running the Pizzarias at the time Michael worked here would also want him fired because they were probably working CLOSE to William with all his murders(probably covering up his trail and what not) and if Michael outed them then they'd be arrested as accomplices in William's murders. I will say that I'm still on the fence about the timeline because of that final scene were Michael says he's going to come find William, and it's a burned down Fazbear's Fright. Who was at that location, Henry? And what was Michael doing for 27 years if he was scooped in '97 as you stated? Was he searching for his father? Working at other restaurants? Trying to set the souls free still? Starting a family which lead to Vanessa's birth and she's his biological daughter? I would like to know your opinion on these points. Great video all the same, you do a much better job covering topics like these than any of the big named theorists like Connor from Top Ten Gaming and MatPat.

I think your theory is definitely on the table, and I’m not saying you’re wrong, but there is some things that you really have to squint at in the video to believe. So here’s some reasons as to why sister location could have happened in 85-86. think the fedddys that hand unit was referring to was the one that closed down in 1985 due to the original missing childrens incident. Which would place the events of sister location directly after that, and directly before fnaf 2, so if mike got scooped in like 1985-1986 ish, it makes sense, because then he would smell bad from that point on. I don’t know… it just seems less likely mike would get fired for sweating… I think Scott used the “you got fired for oder” to tell us that yes, mike is already scooped. Also it just doesn’t make sense for mike to go thru all the trouble of undoing the evil his father has done, unless he has witnessed it, then went out of his way from that point on undoing his fathers deeds.

In the FNaF universe during the day spirit’s possessing animatronics are allowed to leave their suit and wonder around for a whole day but once it hits 12AM the spirit’s return to their animatronic prisons and begin roaming the location their trapped in until 6AM then they can leave the animatronics again it’s very possible the final follow me minigame is after 6AM meaning after William destroyed the animatronics an melted them into the Funtime’s

2 questions, 1 being why would Michael feel the need to hide in the shadows as he states at the end of SL if his body can regenerate and make himself look normal again. Also his eyes are purple at the end of SL, not blue, so the eyes in the fnaf 1 death screen are either a retcon(which is what i believe), or when we do see Michaels blue eyes in the fnaf 1 death screen, why do they all of a sudden turn purple in SL? 2nd being I still don't understand why Michael would work at fnaf 1 or 2 unless he has a reason to, which he wouldn't unless he went to SL. Also, I'm pretty sure Michael has to of either worked at or been to fnaf 2 at some point because if he didn't, how does he know what mangle, puppet, and BB are in his phantom hallucinations, (and nightmare bb as well)? Another thing, calling fnaf 1 successful from an outsiders perspective is fair but afton worked for freddy's and he made SL, so wouldn't he know if fnaf 1 was successful or not?

I like to watch theories and think about them. The timeline is really messy and a lot of evidence tends to be very open to interpretation. I will say I definitely don't think Sister Location is before FNAF2, but am still unconvinced either way in regards to whether it is before or after FNAF1. I love the thought you put into the ideas you have presented, but the evidence is just not strong enough on either side for me to feel certain. I don't have any 100% proof evidence I can think of for either possible placement in the timeline, so that's not a criticism to you. You presented evidence that you found, and did a good job of it. To respectfully play devil's advocate here, if I may-- if remnant regenerated Mike's eyes why wouldn't they regerate all the way back to normal eyes again and then eventually appear as they do in FNAF1? It still seems possible, so that point doesn't persuade me ether way. I am also still leaning towards Circus Baby's Rentals opening after the closing of the FNAF2 location. I got the feeling that the FNAF2 location was pretty popular but it just had to close suddenly due to William murdering kids. Closing suddenly in the prime of success fits more with what Hand Unit says than rotting away like FNAF1's location does before it closes. Sister Location's animatronics also use similar design features to the toy animatronics made for FNAF2. Circus Baby's Rentals starting after the close of FNAF2 doesn't mean that the events of Sister Location take place then, either! I just believe that is when it was started. I also think that melting down animatronics to make remnant fits a lot more with scrapping the FNAF2 ones after it closed. Could it be the remnant of the most recent victims was in these animatronics? Or is it possible that the FNAF2 animatronics, being made of parts of the originals as we know they were, had some of that remnant attached to them? And, either way, that is what was used to infuse the funtime animatronics? Then William wanted more later and went to get it from the originals and broke 4 of them (not all 5, the only parts of Golden Freddy that were taken were taken from it in FNAF2 to make it withered). Then of course in doing so he released the spirits and got springlocked. This doesn't mean SL is before FNAF1 either, just that it seems like it is still possible for it to be. Food for thought, anyway.

Honestly I don't really worry about WHEN SL's events take place, it's not really that important to worry about. Simply put FNAF 4's minigame is in 1983, SL's story of Elizabeth most likely happens somewhere that year, Charlotte dies that year, the Funtimes are locked in the SL for years, and FNAF2 in 1987, FNAF 1 in 1993, pizzeria shuts down in 1995, Michael Afton was at each of these locations either looking for his dad or trying to free the souls, and SL's game events happen somewhere between the 1980s and before FNAF 3 in the modern times. SL's game events are only important for FNAF 6.

After Fnaf 1, because in the Sister location cutscene with springtrap, the cutscene is shown to be happening in the Rubble of The Burned down Fazbears Fright. Yes, I know that because of that code in the game and ennard boss fight, that it is believed to be in 1983 but it probably says 1983 because it could have been year the Funtime animatronics, Baby and Ballora were stored down there.

i think fnaf 1 and 4 could easily take place at the same time. sure, the times say they're the same, but fnaf 4 is a nightmare. i know you brought this up and said you didn't think it'd make sense to have a wrong time told to us, but i think it makes perfect sense. he's having nightmares partially about his nights at freddy's, so it makes sense that, in the world of the nightmare, he'd be specifically in danger during the same hours he has a shift, even if in reality he's just taking an afternoon nap. i'm not saying they have to take place at the same time, but i don't think it's impossible

While well constructed and fairly convincing, I have more than a few hang ups. 1. You pretty much imply that the use of the original 5 souls is the only way to get remnant. They are used in the books yes, but here you have to remember that while canon, the books are their own continuity from the games. Certain concrete ideas (like remnant) may carry over between continuities, but there's nothing actually saying that the detail of the original missing children's souls being used in the remnant for the Funtimes is backed up in the games. 2. You acknowledge that the games do likely canonize a second murder incident of children, making the count of dead kids being a total of 10/11. There are tons of backup exoskeletons shown in the games and also extra mascot parts. It's very easy to argue that the original 5 were not the only souls that lingered long enough to form remnant. 3. Remnant being injected in liquid form...only tells us that that is the easiest way of utilizing it and that melting them together just made it easier to be sure it was using the max amount of it possible without missing much of it. Neither of these being included indicates it has to be like that, just that that's the easiest way for someone living to make use of it. Once an anamatronic becomes haunted, I'd argue it's metal can then be considered harvestable remnant. Metal doesn't stop being metal when it's just ore veins, we just can't use it to our own benefit, to make a parallel that gets my point across. 4. For some reason, it sounded a lot like you were attempting to argue that only the souls of the original 5 stuck around and that the Funtimes couldn't be haunted period without remnant. Baby may not be called Funtime in her name but she is still a Funtime Anamatronic. She would still be haunted, with or without remnant, and the others would still be programmed to go after and kill you. 5. In PS, Henry does a lot more than just explain things. He makes it explicitly clear that he knows not just about the fact William killed his daughter at that part, he implies he's been trying to pin William down for a while, and even suggests that he didn't realize William was springtrap until the job was found by Michael and springtrap showed up what with the 'I don't know how you found this job *not intended for you*' bit in his monologue. From the sound of it, Henry thought there would be more animatronics haunted by victims that he was drawing to him, and he thought William was still free to sulk around to murder kids unseen. This actually leads me to: 6. We have a confirmed estimation of victims of about 6-12 intentionally murdered kids: the puppet, the original five, and what sounds like another 6. I'll have to rewatch to check your wording on that tbh, to make sure I didn't mix up any numbers. Two accidental kills were 4's Crying Child and Elizabeth. We know for sure the name of the murdered Golden Freddy kid, Cassidy, who shares the animatronic with Crying Childs. And these are just *confirmed kills*. Thing about serial killers? Their confirmed kill count is always smaller than their estimated body count, because of the fact that serial killers get really, really good at what they do. Also, not a point against the video, but fun & tragic interpretation of the Candy Bot stories: the person tasked with taking care of 5 of some creature or child seems to parallel really well to Henry, and sort of implies that he's the one whod been covering up the murders for William until he couldn't bare the guilty anymore. His ending monologue really sounds like a man with a guilty conscience who is finally writing his own wrongs while stopping an active threat. Pity it didn't stick like it should have, really. Also, I apologize if my tone at all comes off hostile/rude/etc. I don't mean for it to, I really am just trying to get across my points as clearly as I can to help explain why this theory didn't convince me. Though, I do have a personal belief (not really backed by anything canon tbh other than the fact that there seems to be an inherent need for an organic component to the remnant) is that remnant can't exist without the body the soul original was attached to decaying onto the metal. Would actually explain a lot about Springtrap continuously returning, tbh. He's constantly generating remnant since his body has never been fully burned away and his own remnant is trying to regenerate him. He's not dead...but I wouldn't say he's 'alive'.. he's more stuck in between those two states, perpetually in the process of dying. EDIT: Upon quickly googling all the FNAF 2 mini games to get a number of how many kids we are shown, the confirmed kill count is either 6, 11, or 16 depending on if you think we're being shown some of the same kids or not. I personally do not believe so, so I believe the confirmed intentional kill count of William to be 16 children-Three sets of five kids, plus Charlie (to use the Book's name for Henry's Daughter).

I want to believe this theory, but I also want to believe that it happens after FNaF 2 and before FNaF 1. Here's why I think that it could have happened after FNaF 2 before FNaF 1, Michael in the final scene says I'm going to come find you, and I know it shows Spring Trap and all, but we know that William Afton died in 1993, since FNaF 3 is 30 years after the first FNaF, so Michael could say I'm going to come find you because William is still alive, and Michael wants to find him, then works at FNaF 1 location to see if he can find his father there, whom soon comes and destroys the animatronics after Michael got fired, then got springlocked. Could you elaborate why this wouldn't work for SL's placement in the timeline?

its easy to explain away: Hand Unit refers to Freddy fazbear's pizza closing relatively recently, and its said to have been a massive success. if FNaF 2 was the most recent at the time, that wouldnt make sense, because fnaf 2 was not successful. it closed in like 2-3 weeks. Michael saying he will find william doesnt mean anything as it showing springtrap likely means that will be when he finds him. He claims he will find william, but then he cant because william is trapped in a wall. many people say SL has to be before fnaf 1 because william told him to go to sister location. And yeah he did, but Michael wouldn't need to find William in that case because he'd be in contact with him and possible even live near him still. Michael wouldn't need to find William BECAUSE he'd still be alive. he has to find him because its been years since william actually told him to go down and he only did now, and William is now missing, trapped in the safe room

This is a good video, but I feel like some of your points support the game taking place before FNAF 2. FNAF 2's location obviously wasn't successful, and FNAF 1's had little to no customers, and it can't be a outsider's perspective seeing how Hand Unit (like all the other robots in the building) was designed by Afton Robotics. So realistically, the last successful Freddy's location was the one where the missing children's incident took place. Which would mean Sister Location could very well take place right before FNAF 2. With that in mind, I should mention that in my humble opinion, I think FNAF works better as a narrative if pieces of the story connect fluidly. Sure, you could say Michael could've procrastinated before going to Circus Baby's Pizza World, but that part of the theory feels weak, and more or so headcanon level. Would it make more sense for him to immediately try and find his father wherever he may be? He probably would've never gone to the FNAF 1 location if he didn't learn of what his father was doing. I get the idea that Find Player Two could be a parallel to Michael trying to find his friend. But to me it feels even more supportive of Sister Location being Michael's motivator, as the main character in that story makes a promise to find the murderer in the same sense of how Michael promised to find his father. But that's just my personal opinion, and I still think this video's points are valid.

That’s simply not true. The safe rooms are sealed BEFORE the first Freddy’s closes, and the follow me Minigames are AFTER it closes. Therefore, the safe room was simply reopened by William when he went to the location, which really is not hard to believe in the slightest

We dont hear phone guy or anyone else metioning it will be closed again. This is why narratively it makes no sense, its asking the audience too asume too much. Phone guy mentioning the rooms being closed works as "Chekhov's gun" within the story.

In fnaf 6’s Insanity Ending Henry describes exactly what happens during the follow me Minigames, indicating he either witnessed it or saw the aftermath, which means that he found William in the same room and he probably sealed him inside for good. Plus, the reason the safe room was sealed in the first place was because the missing kids were lured there, Springtrap has nothing to do with it

And again with your last point, how can William combine the metal skeletons if he's locked in the safe room? When and how could he take remnant from the robots and put them in the funtimes? And in fnaf 6 it looks like Freddy has a kid inside him so he's possessed by someone else. Not the og 5. about a month ago I recorded a short where I show how to play FNaF games in chronological order, I showed there that SL happens after FNaF 1, and since then, I keep getting comments that SL is before FNaF 1, I try to answer these comments and explain quite a logical way why SL happens after FNaF 1, but people give pointless arguments anyway and usually it ends up either arguing endlessly or after a while they just stop responding to me, I don't know how to prove to them that SL is after FNaF 1, can you please help me? Now I agree that SL takes place after FNAF 1 but obviously after Fnaf 2 because for the first 5 nights we don't play as Mike and it's in 87. But I feel like some things you point out aren't exactly solid. I think that Mike went to find William IN sl, not fnaf 1 or 2. I think it makes more sense that he went to fnaf 1 because either the crying childs death or the Freddy bully which have to have died in the animatronics for him to tamper with them. I think that sweat is a ridiculous idea and the odor is probably due to tampering with unclean animatronics with corpses inside. To further add on this since Sister Location takes place in January of 1997 William would have destroyed the FNaF 1 animatronics in 1996 and is also the same year he gets spring locked in I personally believe Puppet sealed William in the safe room after he got spring locked I also believe FNaF 4 happens from 1997 all the way to 2023 the first six nights Micheal’s brother is torturing him then in nights seven and eight Shadow Freddy/Nightmare tortures him I also think FNaF 4 having a eighth night and nothing special happening after the night ends is a way of telling us that Micheal just keeps experiencing the same nightmare over and over again until FNaF 3 when his up against his father.
