This armor stand ability is nice. Being able to bring static displays to life is a great building detail for story telling like Scar does with his storefronts, dioramas and park experiences. Animated armor stands based on redstone input is missing from Minecraft Java. So this mod brings parity with a very old Minecraft Bedrock feature.

Adding the red and green "lights" with the armor stands was just the cherry on top! You always find a way to get that extra oomph into every build you do. Love it! Scar is going to be so excited to see this - I'm sure he didn't envision either the "employees" or the red/green indicators as part of what you'd do. Another comment mentioned pushing glad blocks into the ticket takers. If that works, it would be perfect! So often, the ticket person is in a little glassed in booth, and it would prevent the ticket accidently getting grabbed by the zombie.

One thing about Disneyland (And by extension Scarland) is that they will take pains to avoid saying anything negative. So maybe the ticket taker would work saying something like "Please check with a Scarland Member for assistance" Also they avoid using red for denied entry, but use blue instead

one of my favorite things about scarland is the way in which it has become a collaboration. i would love to see a season of hermitcraft where everyone is paired up with someone else for the entire season working together collaboratively. scarland is a little taste of that.

Hey impulse, as for the sound system, doc is trying to get the position for sound engineer and he made a really reliable day night disc player. Hence the annoying announcements. If you were to do the redstone for it I would consult him on his design, if not just leave him for the job.

i'm 47, the mom of a freshly enrolled uni student, and i've been starting doing redstone for the first time ever. And I have to say : yours and mumbo jumbo's videos are an immense help to understand what and how (and let's not forget some other people i'm not gonna list). Sorting systems, super smelters, farms, the basics.... but yeah for an older brain like mine, having someone like you dumb it down is quite nice. You're the Asimov of Minecraft redstone. I know you just went through all the trouble of moving the ticket takers in, but I had an idea. If Scar wants employees that have a specific look other than the default zombies you could use zombie villagers! Give a villager a job before you zombify them and they'll keep that outfit. You could even further customize their look by choosing villagers from a specific biome. That's a bunch of different possibilities to choose from so surely there's something that would make a good ticket taker look among them. Although I am just now realizing that their nose would get in the way of putting any mob heads on them without looking silly. But they could still wear a hat or something!

With these custom records, you could really pull off a great rollercoaster, complete with ratcheting noises on the lifts and rolling noises. The armor stand poses via redstone signals to books could make for a great animatronics show should a ride ever need one. I look forward to seeing your redstone skills giving life to this place.

Maybe you could add a happiness meter onto Paul, and depending how low the happiness meter is he gives you different rewards when you reset it, such as belts, crowns or diamonds. And when it reaches the bottom, Paul explodes. Just an idea.

True. He could do that using two vertical pistons that extend towards one another. That way it would open up a two block wide gap to pass through when the turnstile opens. That was my first idea for a piston-based turnstile and I'd really love to see him do it. If he puts it between the side wall and one of the other turnstiles, he wouldn't even need that many blocks to hide the piston. ... Or he simply makes a manual gate with a security and a ticket taker in front of it, like they often do at festivals irl for disability access...

Pro Tip: for bamboo powered furnace arrays, give each furnace a barrel of storage for the bamboo. The reason they can run out is because 6 stacks is not much bamboo. But with a whole barrel per furnace, you'll never run out, unless you run it nonstop for many hours.

It might be cool to have a redstone lamp sequence that activates when a ticket is accepted or denied as well... For accepted tickets, redstone lamps could activate from left to right in a rainbow fashion. For denied tickets, all redstone lamps would flash 3 times in unison.

Give flint and steel to the ticket taking zombies, so they can punch the cards, and click their ticker. Edit: And I love how you added indicators for the gate. Redstone indicators are great. I made an elevator once, the activation of it was silent, as all you had to do was fistbump a noteblock, to start or recall the elevator. It was a silent trigger. People would get impatient, and hit the button twice, which broke the elevator every time. Because they didn't know if it was working. So I put a piston in the wall, it did nothing, but would trigger when you hit the noteblock. Suddenly, no more broken elevator. They just needed to know SOMETHING was happening.

As nice as you call him Paul, most people collectively wants to call him George, as I do. Making the forge happy reminds me of Mumbo's base last season where you need to feed him to make him happy. The forge's mouth does look like he has a form of mustache, so asking some help from Mumbo & Grian (being the ones with experience with Minecraft AI, the living base & Grumbot) could give the forge some life.

For the future Announcement System, Tango discovered there was a new feature in the Custom Disc Mod, which allowed him to Modify the Reach Distance of the Discs.. Letting him use only one Automatic Jukebox instead of multiple Spread out ones that require Syncing.. So, you can only make 1 Automatic Audio System underneath the Flag and have each Announcement timed with DayLight Sensors or an EthoClock.

Since the zombie security guards are silenced, and since the server mod for the jukebox allows for proximity... Aaaaannnd.... Since dispensers with carved pumpkin heads (is still?) a thing... One can have a jukebox under each zombie, with a collection of dialogue samples to choose from... Have Hermits volunteer "shifts": they record 3×3¹ random "security guard doing their thing" voice overs of 5(?) seconds each. Have each zombie (now with hermit head, voice over discs loaded and red stone wizardry!) on a "shift timer", where (pistons-extender?) pops them up/down. 4 gates, 4 hermit zombie guards, depends on the traffic, working all 4, to only 1 or 2 guards at a time. _____ ¹3×3. Meaning 3 dialogue choices for "wrong item", "please don't block the line" (?) and "welcome to Scarland!" Almost like NPC atmosphere...
