10:01 The best thing about this Hardy vs Gobert Iso was seconds earlier. Hardy wanted to give the ball back to Luka, but Luka just told him "Nah, you got this. Go 1 on 1 with Gobert!" Thats savage and beautifull at the same time. Savage, cause he has so little respect for Gobert that he tells a 21 years old Softmore and PO rookie, who is the 9th guy in the rotation, to take the DPOY 1 on 1. Beautifull, cause he trusts this young guy so much, that he has no problem with him creating offense in a crutial situation. And Hardy delivers! This team is just so special...

@@redman6790 I am not a fan of it but in this case it obviously was something they had to do. It's a good karma retribution, because the fact that Doncic was so good so early made it impossible to pair with another superstar (well, there was Brunson...) in the draft, byt Lively will become in the future an All-Star caliber player I think, his IQ and body will become much better with time and it's already one of his biggest strength

Which is very impressive and handy (esp for a pnr heavy player like Luka) and it is a useful addition, but I'm not sure about All-Star level. Not sure if rim runners become AS much given their job barely shows up on the stat sheets nor is it flashy (its literally be a lob threat and set good screens on offense, with the occasional pass when the offensive ball handler is trapped and on defence is be a rim protector and on the occasional switches be able to move your feet well enough to not get Gobert'd lol - cheap shot I know but its funny, I personally respect Rudy a lot and have said he is the best defender of our generation and HOF for years now).

@@redman6790 Well Rudy is an all-star just by his defensive impact, I think Lively can attain such levels, and being a good rim runner who can do passes as a short roler makes you an all-star in my book if your defensive numbers are this high at such an early stage of your career. His first season with the Mavs and Luka showed there was some issues tbf (Luka was handing so many cluth time shots off to him) whereas this year they've been a pretty much perfectly balanced duo - they score very similarly and playmake at the same rate too now

The energy it would take to win 4 in a row after playing the first 3 would be tremendous. You'd also have to fend off the inevitable Luka and Kyrie "good game." They haven't really opened up yet. They've played okay, but not great. Luka for one, can play better than he's showed in this series. And that game 4 also came down to the final minute. I was watching the entire thing. Dallas was missing everything down the stretch. Wide open 3's were not only missed, but several were passed up and turned into turnovers.

It’s simple. Let Kyrie and luka do their thing but lock down the role players. Hold them below double digits and luka and Kyrie can get 40 each and still lose
