I feel like with so many characters it depends on the season. For example, Mike (Stranger Things) season 1, definitely stan, maybe even royalty, but season 4 Mike is JAIL.

I highly disagree. Mike has done nothing in season 4 that deviates from his character. He’s a teenager. The only 2 things that people don’t like about Mike is the fact that he 1. Didn’t say “I love you” to El, even though El belittles his problems, and completely lied to him with basically no remorse, she didn’t even apologize for straight up lying to him for a couple months, (which I understand why, but at the same time, girl, Mike has been bullied too, and Mike is your boyfriend. How are you going to complain about him not showing his true feelings when you straight up lied to him also; and yet nobody critiques Eleven. It’s apparently only Mikes fault.) And also, it’s completely reasonable that Mike didn’t say “I love you”. Mike IS a teenager, he shouldn’t be forced to say something that he doesn’t feel comfortable with expressing. And let’s not forget that Nancy also has relationship troubles and yet nobody blames or judges her for that. And 2. Being Mike doesn’t interact with Will that much anymore. But he was been away from Will for a long time, and naturally grew apart from him. It’s not like he completely abandoned Will, and also literally everyone forgot about Will, not just Mike, WHO might I add, interacted with Will more then Will’s own brother and mother did this season (from what we saw) even Johnathan and Eleven who LIVED with him. Wouldn’t you say that’s much worse then Mike who was across the entire planet. (Who also apologized and had a heartfelt moment with Will, TWICE. Like when was Mike ever mean to Will? Just because he doesn’t know that Will likes him doesn’t make him a bad person.) Can Mike improve as a character? Yes. But was he ever a bad character? No. You’re basically blaming Mike for all of YOUR favorite characters downfalls. Mike is there for people, he owns up to his mistakes, and despite being lied too and bullied he never blames or gets mad at anybody else. His character is by definition, meh compared to everybody else, and this is because he’s NEVER and still doesn’t need character development. He has stayed the same neutral character he was in season 1. In season 5, Mike will obviously be a more focused on character, but if you honestly thought Mike was a bad character when all he did was help his friends, apologize, and redeem himself (which is arguably so much better then he was in season 2, and 3, where he was basically a side character) then you’re quite frankly delusional.

@@nerdyweeb1184 Listen Wednesday is my girl but she was OBSESSED with Xavier being the villain in her fantasy even tho logically it didn't make sense (hence why she said all of it only made sense after she kissed Tyler. That means she knew there were some threads that didnt connect and yet she didnt question them and pinned it all on Xavier). DNA already wasn't a match, and even if he was the monster, why would he leave evidence of himself as the monster everywhere in his artshed? She KNEW Xavier liked her even if she didnt know why so of course he wanted to be close to her so yea it came off stalker-ish. But how would he quickly change to Xavier in an instant with all his clothes intact after just becoming the monster during that footprint scene? Its so odd Wednesday didnt think about these things. Crazy how she didnt suspect Tyler ONCE even tho she told him personally wherever she was gonna be and the monster always knew where she went. Plus he always sounded way too normal/relaxed for a normie about a serial-killing monster. Wednesday probably didnt pick up on it because she's always cool about everything but what she doesnt realize Tyler as a normie's reaction isn't normal. And the "stroke of misdirection" thing, he couldnt even be strong enough to open those doors, how would he manage to get away from the monster with just 3 scratches when anything the monster gets in contact with either ends up dead or in the hospital? The writers need to be smarter so that Wednesday doesnt come off as someone who just ignores logic once she has pinned her own fantasy murderer. At least, there's room for improvement for season 2.

Thing is self explanatory. Enid is ALSO self explanatory. Wenclair. Best duo/ship. Other than that yoko and Di deserved more screen time
