That’s interesting that north eastern face racism with the rest of their Indian brethren, lots of foreigners come and visit India and they are treated very well, so how come Indians don’t mistreat foreigners like kohei or mayo but all of a sudden they have a seething hatred for north eastern Indians? It doesn’t add up, Indians aren’t racially bias, observe how they treat foreigners, lots of foreigners come to india and respect india and are very well assimilated into Indian culture, so how come Indians don’t have trouble with them? Well?

The problem was that the world was not as globalised as it is now. People did not had mobile phones or access to internet then. But now situation is changed, everyone has Google maps installed in their phone, people now visit North-East more often, people now can learn about its unique and great culture through the web, interact with people online on social media platforms, show solidarity in times of grief and rejoice together on moments of happiness. And that is why I believe access to technology and education is must for every citizen of our country. I graduated from IIT Guwahati this year and I loved the people of Assam during my 4 year stay at Guwahati, also visited in nearby states of Meghalaya and others on trips and explored the diverse multi-lingual and multi-cultural heritage we share.

Wait, i want to talk about NE of 5000 years ago one might think i am talking about Mythology but trust me it's history if one read about it or no i don't know but Arjun the Pandava from Hastinapur had 4 wives two of which were from the North East Princess Ullupi from Nagaland (the Land of Snake Royals aka Cobras aka place of Naag and Naagins) and Princess Chitrangada from Manipur ( the Land of Gems taken from Cobra Heads), these are old histories which unfortunately people do not read about and the people of NE 's mind are brainwashed with nonsense the british did all the brainwashing of not only NE people but also of tribes living in other states all of you are protecting what Christianity excepting what Christianity but Damn people we all are Sanatanis what about the true culture of these very lands people used to worship n number of Gods and Goddesses but where have they Vanished ?? I wish the true culture of these very lands return again Likewise there are also history about Assam, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh , Tripura , Meghalya, Sikkim Well some have quite intersting meaning like : Tripura ( 'Tri' means three 'Pura' means place where one can live aka home) so there must be three places combined together to make one Tripura also this place might be named after Maa Tripura Sundari who came in this world with Tri Shakti's power i.e. Laxmi Kaali and Saraswati so it has something to relate with number 3 Meghalaya: 'Megh' meaning Clouds and 'ALaya' meaning abode so it means Abode of Sky or Abode of Clouds aka Heaven Lord Indra is the King of Heaven So something related to Clouds, Sky Arunachal : 'Arun' meaning the God Arun aka Uranus . This God is the Charioter of the Sun God Surya Dev. 'Achal' meaning Constant; Steady; means firm and constant like a mountain; Stable/ Soul;Constant, Immovable. So, Achal like Arun is the meaning note: Do not confuse ACHAL with ANCHAL they have two different meanings ( any doubt in understanding then ask me) So, do find these interesting things about your states Find out the meaning of Mizoram, Assam, and Sikkim I do not know but i'll sure research too but one thing i noticed is after Mizo it's 'Ram' The Lord Ram and after As is 'Sam' Shyam aka The Lord Krishna so see such beautiful meanings , info's are there why don't you find it about the real history of these people sure will fit these in their minds if not others but people like me who are interested about these things will definately fit these in their minds and will never ever forget what NE is.

As a human being we should treat each other and everyone the way we want ourselves to be treated. Because at the end of the day when you will leave your country and go abroad for any purpose nobody is going to know you or remember you or ask you which state you come from, what they will remember and ask is what country you come from!
