As I said on Knubia: "My weekly nourishment! Dr. Carr and Prof. Hunter were Mic dropping this week and gave me some additional things to think about around the upcoming political season we are entering... And then, Dr. Carr, weaving it in with Ms. Autherine Lucy Foster's story... Wow, we are literally creating our "How Do it Free Us" map, in real time, with all of the knowledge we (black people) have accumulated to date, right here in (Knubia) this space....my mind is BLOWN!!!!"

Goodness "Gracious".. I'm very grateful to be in class, especially in this moment of time. The rock- a -bye-baby, and bugs bunny, are a movement, and memory moment. This brought back a fight for a resolution, to shut down that rifle toting yankee! Man! Rabbits, monkey, and animals used in the African Proverbs? These are now imprinted in my ways of knowing. Teaching on this level helps me to, turn down the rest of social structure nonsense! Indebted to you both for this opportunity to learn. Thank you.✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

I am sooooo loving this description Dr. Carr brings to those "Childhood" Fairy tales and songs. My mother brought me the entire collection of Childcraft Books that included "all dat"! But as I read them, the Ancestors surrounded me because even though the illustrations were "white", I only saw them as beyond the illustrations (which influences my own artwork today!). I absorbed ALL of the volumes...and interpreted them as they related to my "reality". I even changed the story of "Rapunzel" to "Beulah" with the appropriate descriptions of her hair as "nappy". NO ONE told me to do this, and I was probably five to seven years old when I "transformed" the Childcraft stories into my own reality. Why did I do this? BECAUSE I could see/feel/celebrate a community, Eastland Gardens (D.C.) that reinforced whatever was presented to us into a "Reality" that CENTERED around what and who I already knew! This is the MISSING LINK among soooo many of the generations since the so-called, "Baby Boomers". WE did not have to encounter the pathology of "Whiteness" until we were fully ingrained within our own cultural identity! I believe your virtual community in Knarrative can "heal" in ways that have been dammed by obstructions that block our young ones to just create and imagine within their own understanding of reality without external influences. I continue to "Restore Memories" among our people of my generation with the intentions of empowering them to do the same within their own families. WE HAVE SOOOO MUCH WORK STILL TO DO! I LOVE Y'ALL....KEEP IT MOVIN'!!!!

I did an entire deep dive on africans in Russia. Russia have over 3million immigrants today. There are various pro slavic (white supremacy) factions in russia and in that area period. Racism against black people transcends borders, politics or nations. Putin talk about neo nazis when there are areas non slavs cant go or live or work. There are neo nazis all over europe and america.

What do you say to those who say voting doesn’t matter when districts are being redrawn around the country to dilute our voting base/power? I know voting is important and I vote. But I can understand the hesitation of many who continue to see our voting power being diluted due to redistricting AND folk voted into office who continually do nothing for us.

These Ninjas kill me like Thomas and many others who think they have a seat a the table. There is a scripture in the Bible that comes to my mind Esther 4:13-14 when Esther's uncle Mordecai says to her " think not within thy self that you shall escape just because you're in the King's house, for if you hold your peace while they are coming to destroy your people then God will raise someone else up to deliver the people. I be tripping when I see black folks side with those who are trying to take our rights away as people of color. Do they really think that they shall escape whatever fate as the rest of us because they fooled themselves into thinking they have a real seat a the table?
