My dissertation was on the social networking activities of educators to improve teaching and learning. Every time I read a biography, such as the one written by David Blight’s book on Frederick Douglass, I love learning who made friends with whom to move missions forward. So, nothing gives me more joy than to hear Dr. Carr share the connections of our ancestors, scholars, civil rights leaders, etc. Thank you, Ms. Hunter and Dr. Carr, for this valuable social networking and learning opportunity. Dr. Hunter, thanks for sharing the link on Black-Owned bookstores. Frederick Douglass said that “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” You cannot give a child back their childhood. You cannot undo trauma once it is experienced, you can only alleviate the harm. It is far more effective, cost effective, and fruitful to do everything in our power to give ALL children the kind of start and the kind of future they deserve. I think these discussions does help adults changing our mindset. It has for me, but this is why I started writing children's book.

Thanks for this session. I have always said, Religion and Politics are related. Both Karen and Dr. Carr, stated, if you look at the actions, and not what's being said...all have been hyporitical. Each time I have encountered an Antichrist, I have always asked them to simply define both Religion and Politics. What I have discovered is that (if their definition is short enough, lol) those definitions are quite similar. In addition, I have taken it upon myself to research the following and I challenge you to do the same, but I spent time browsing Hypocrites in various religions. Surprisingly, there are documentaries (here on KZbin) on all of them. Although I was surprised, I was not shocked. Therefore, that means hypocricy exist in everything. Great discussion! Thanks for sharing. CONTINUE!!
