Thank you for posting this series that was also shown on TV with us in the 1960s, such as Are You Being Served?, Dad's Army, Allo Allo, Man About the House, Keeping Up Appaerances, Frank Spencer, The Plank and George & Mildred but also not forgetting Coronation Street. Mostly black and white and Dutch subtitles.

No wonder Mum and Aunt Maude looked so similar: They share the same last name. They must have really been sisters in real life. All in the family, this one as Marcus the dog was the actress that plays Olive really did belong to her in real life. The dog certainly did not mind its Mistress though, did it. What a contrary and willful, pushy dog. My husband had a huge beast of a dog with that same personality and I insisted that dog go to canine training school to learn good and polite behavior. The training did some good, but the dog was so willful and belligerent, the training didn't last long & he went back to his old ways. I never did like that dog. Rest in peace, Pepper.🐩
