This is so interesting and long overdue. I'm a Gen xer and have grown up and reaped the benefits of the Feminist Movement of the boomers. Ever since my young adult life, the focus was on the girls achieving more and beyond boys. For the last few years I have noticed a downright backlash on young men and boys. Such a shame. Also, any time I would date a new man, some would automatically think I was a feminist, I was not, ever. I value the male opinions, their humor, their masculinity and I would never think to compete with that. Men are men and women are women. I'm speaking only of heterosexuals. To give a voice and guidance and attention to boys is something which I do not EVER see anymore on TV ads, yes, I still watch TV. Keep the focus on boys, they are lost souls right now.
