I love this game. It 100% captures the mood of the opening scene of the first movie and I’m here for it. Really a shame that they don’t do more with the property? The concept of being hunted by a single terminator could work so well both as a singleplayer experience (maybe vr) and a multiplayer among us/dbd thing
@pimscrypt3 жыл бұрын
There are definitely some cool possibilities there. Since Resident Evil 7 in VR is one of the best video game experiences I've ever had, I'd gladly take a scary Terminator game in VR as well!

The creators of the game have actually confirmed upcoming DLC for the game which looks like it may be exclusive to the remastered versions of the game on the PS5/Series X..

There was a DOS game that did exactly that. You picked either Kyle Reese or the T-800 and then hunted the other while trying to protect/kill Sarah. It's insane to me that no one has tried this again, especially since the Nemesis system in Resident Evil Remake 2/3.

I have played through this now 3 times on PS4. I bought the Limited Run PS5 version. But still haven’t been able to get a PS5. So as soon as I do, I will do an entire new run though. I really, really like this game!

Of course he couldn't recognize his own voice! Most of us have grown up in an age where we've all heard our own voice in a recording, and had a chance to get used to the fact that we're all higher pitch than we think we are. You think kids mess around with tape recorders, camcorders, or cellphone videos in the post apocalypse? The fact that future him felt the need to try a little Batman voice was pretty adorable, though.

Great video! As someone who prefers the first film for its grungier feel and bleaker, more horror-like tone, this got me really interested in checking out Resistance. Can’t wait to see what Teyon does with their upcoming RoboCop game
@sunjoexys72512 жыл бұрын
The game's very flawed. Laughable character facial animations, clunky stealth mechanic, broken weapon upgrade system (once you get access to plasma weapons, all the other velocity-based weapons become obsolete instantly, for example), phoned-in climax and final "boss battle".... You name it. Yet it shows genuine love for T1 and T2. It boils down to this, if you are not a Terminator fan, the game is a 6.5-7/10 at best, but if you are a long-time Terminator fan who grew up with T1 and T2, this is a must-play.

your commentary about being pretty good about accepting flaws made me go 'yeeeeeah' because i have the same thing, specially with games. it's a finnicky medium to find things that work. and i always appreciate the effort on the devs part to even experiment a bit. also, yeah: terminator 1 is just the best. dark fate works with me a lot too bc it has the same beats and structure (except reese is a hot tall lady..... i was just bound to like it).

There've been some fairly positive reviews. Personally I find it to be better than critics have given it credit for though. Not to dunk on IGN as a whole, but I found the IGN review in particular to be WAY too harsh. Probably the harshest out of all the reviews of the game.
