Arc, I wouldn't trust the mechanics of the Revolve to last, I could be wrong, but I'd be interested to see if it still works in a few months

I bought a Walmart charcoal pizza oven on clearance for $89. Dollars. Have had it for two years and because of your videos my pizza have been great. I've had to learn about fires and pressure great stuff. And because of you Veto I'm building my own brick oven. VETO you GOT me addicted to making pizza THANK YOU Pizza is life.

I like the idea of Revolve; You can make the next pizza ready while one cooks and you don't have to worry about burning the pizza if you forget to turn it.

Good video, I have the ARC XL and I love it. An upgrade from the Roccbox. I can see how simple is to get the Pizza rotating by itself but if you make a mistake when launching the Pizza it will be a mess. I also like the space in the ARC to avoid more direct contact with the fire.

yeah it revolve isa great idea, but you have almost got to be a much better pizza maker in regard to shaping and launching. In the Arc you can easily get away with odd shaped pizza.

@revolvepizzaoven Are there any statistics available for how many times the motor for the rotation fails? I was interested in upgrading my Gozney Roccbox with the Etna Rotante, not just because of the rotation but the U-shaped burner. But the complaints on failed motors was off putting.

this is the last rotating stone oven i heard of. I already know the Witt Etna Rotante, the Everdure Kiln and the Cozze 17 with Rotation. But i own a Arc XL :D

Very nice and professional review, Vito! Both are great: Gozney has a super design in my opinion, and is deep, so maybe would fit two pizzas? If so, I would choose Gozney! Congrats on the 1,39 Million subscribers! I just checked and you got 1 million in 7 years, and then 0.39 million in 7 months. Lucky double 7, Vito!

Good video - I just got the Gozney Arc and I love it. Chose it over a turning stone, as I think some of the "fun" is lost if it is a "fire and forget" pizza. You have to be present and take care of your pizza when it it in the oven. But The Revolve (and other turning ovens) are great for beginners.

This was a really good video. Well done, Vito! The only thing I would say, is that at the end you said that, for beginners, the Revolve is the one to go for because it’s so easy. It’s worth remembering, though, a bread maker is a very easy way to make a loaf of bread. But if you are hoping to learn how to bake bread from scratch, a bread maker is not gonna teach you. And the Arc is going to be much better at teaching a beginner how to launch, check, turn and cook a pizza than the Revolve.

Both are incredible, honestly. The Gozney Arc oven is great for larger pizzas for sure, but the Revolve makes things SO much easier if all your concerned is to have one pizza after another cooked without too much in the way of focusing on what side is getting cooked the most/least!

Nice video Vito as usual. I would still prefer an oven like the Gozney to be honest. You should review the new Ooni Koda 2 Max, which can cook two pizzas at the same time.

I'm leaning Arc XL. I ordered an Arc Dome when it first came out but cancelled and that was at the lowest price it ever was. I can get an XL for under under 700, Id do a Revolve but has to be way less than 500 more like in the 300's pretax.

The Dome dual fuel and S1 gas only are a better experience IMO. I have cooked a lot on the Dome and a bit on the ArcXL and find the Dome better. The heat retention, the space etc. The ArcXL seems to burn pizzas easier due to its lower internal height.

Hi maestro! My pizza crust stays a bit flat and becomes a bit hard if I make it crunchy. It rises a bit in the oven but not like yours. Also the bottom leaks a bit of moisture from the sauce sometimes, especially when I use a stone. It works slightly better when I bake the pizza on baking paper on a baking tray. Could it be my hot air home oven doesn't get hot enough? I have to bake the pizza for 10-13 minutes to get it done. The temperature setting goes up to 250 C, but I measured with multiple thermometers and they all say it doesn't even get up to 200 Celcius. Can I do something to the dough to make it work better in my oven? More yeast? Less salt? Longer/shorter proofing time? Higher or lower hydration? (I use about 68% and a good tipo 00 pizza flour from La Tua Farina and even tried manitoba)

your home oven can't get as hot as these ovens. I have a Dome and the dough isn't as much a factor as getting the right heat. The best you can do in a home oven is hack the way energy is transferred. Get a baking steel/pizza steel. Google pizza steel and you will learn more. Stones in home oven aren't as good as pizza steel. Also drain your sauce a bit to get rid of water. Good luck!

When you get in the price range of these ovens they will both make a great pizza, but when spending that much it needs to do more than just one things and last a decent amount of time. The ARC is a simple beast made of high quality materials.... its never going to break beyond repair and the gozney line has proven longevity. The Revolve seems like a gimmick thats going to break, be hard to find parts for and really does one thing.

First price, Roccbox cheaper, but if you get these on the same price, I would have chosen the Revolve. I had the Roccbox, and the space inside is less forgiveness if you are not 100% there turning the pizza. I can't deny that the Revolve will help for beginners, but they need to focus on launching anyways where a lot of people have issues when they start.

In Lithuania I can get only Gozney Roccbox, and + all extra things which is not included would be more expensive then take revolve. And Gozney Arc only available in Germany and Austria.. I don't see why it should fail, it's very simple, how often do you get a blender, for example, where it's basically the same mechanism?

You mentioned that the ARC XL comes with the thermometer gun and the cover - are you sure? I thought those were both accessories that you have to buy separately? I have an Arc XL on order and ordered a cover and thermometer separately because I didn’t think they were included with the oven.

Both are good, but the Gozney won hands down. Also more future problems will develop with a rotating bottom. Also can get the Gozney arc xl up to temp in 20 minute to 25 minutes with the front heat shield. Great comparison but yeah Gozney wins this

Gozney all the way!! one misfired pizza in the revolve and you made a complete mess with the whole turn table gimmick also have to make sure it’s centered on the revolving stone or one side will burn, and on top of that I’m sure the revolve can’t fire pizza after pizza like the gozney

Ohhh gosh!!! Revolve didn't revolve and stopped a few times. Arc is another disappointment with the flame too close to crust. Burn baby burn! Gozney Rockbox and Gozney dome are the better ovens. Throw that turntable in the garbage! Lol

The turning stone will get old and you will eventually want something better. The gozney is better quality in every way and allows you to actually control your pizza. The Revolve is a gimmick. PS I don't own either of these ovens but I have looked at the specs and it's not even close. I love Vito and these videos get tons of views but it's like comparing a suped up Toyota to a BMW.
