Thanks for sharing your reaction and analysis! I heard this song with the video first, and then rewatched it so many times before hearing it on the album that I basically replay the video in mind whenever I hear it, and I love that because this video just adds to the great energy of the song! Another comment mentioned it, but I'd recommend watching the short behind-the-scenes video they posted for the making of this music video. I know youtube doesn't like links, but it's episode 10 of the LPTV From Zero series posted on Linkin Park's official channel. I think you'd really enjoy it. By the way, Mr. Joe Hahn, the band's turntablist/DJ directed the video. He directs A LOT of their videos. He's awesome!

I avoid music videos a lot because they can take away from the songs often. Not this one. I'm a huge fan of this album and know it very well. This video is dope as hell for this song. Emily's presence in Linkin Park is A1 ! The crazy fan haters are missing out. Really cool music video!
