I’ve been practicing the scissor step for a long time. I couldn’t do it because I didn’t how to get my front foot to the back of my body. Also my timing was messed up. But after watching this video. I finally learned how to do it and I am now good at it and it works a lot of the time when I’m trying to get by somebody, and finish at the rim. Like I’ve done it many times and it a very affective because they think I’m gonna go the other way but I just go the same way and drive and finish at the rim. Thanks Coach for the vid. Really helped me out. I added this move to my bag🎒and I recommend people watching this learn the scissor step because it is very affective and deadly. Again thx coach🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Damn, I just noticed that you shoot 3s after both Left & Right way sissor steps by both Left & Right hands!

When you teach this do you differentiate a scissor and a skip step.? Because i would consider this move as an in between to a scissor and a skip- just wondering because i know there are different terms depending what region you’re in. Good video tho!!

Josiah Henry are you in San Diego? I have group and private workouts here. For traveling I have a daily rate plus flight & hotel

Just seeing this. Good move. But your traveling on the rip through jump shot. When you drop left foot, back and right foot, foward, You’re bringing the right foot back to shoot. That’s the travel. When you drop. Your 1st step is your left. Your 2nd step is your right , which is the plant foot. And it cannot move. Your 1st step(left) can move. To fix this this , all you need to do is step into the shot with your left foot. Same on the opposite side. If you drop right(1st) to left(2nd) , rip , and than step into the shot with the Right (1st)
