I’m very proud to se this two professors in the Somali community. I love both them so much but when it comes politics I support more the guy Ahmed Ismail Samatar. Because he accepted and back up the Somaliland policy to become a free country from the rest of Somalia. ❤️😊😄. I like too the other guy Abdi Ismail even if we have som kind disagreement in the policy but that not making me to hate him. While talking about the unity and what was agreed upon to make a united Somalia between the north and the south is intentionally misrepresented here. I mean prof. Abdi Samatar is lying about one fact with intention and he names that there was nothing agreed upon and that they didn't talk about it at all. Both brothers deserve to be respected for their political views however, Ahmed has let down many of his fans who admired him greatly after he made change of heart from his long standing vision to keep Somalis as one country. but his brother Abdi has not changed his poison to this day and stayed true to his character and this is why people favor him over his older brother Ahmed.

Prof Abdi I. Samatar doesn't know much about djibouti history and their geo-politic. Djibouti not really what you call Danakil or afar it's probably little nomadists from north of rep of djibouti. Danakil is small community from part of Ethiopia but Issa tribes are very huge and stonger than afar tribes. Issa occupied a fast territory largest the north west of Somalia. Issa lands starting from Illimaha and Agabar regions at 30 from Hargeisa and Waraqa-dhigta near Gabiley passing by Djibouti to Awash 200km from Addis-Abeba and have boarders Dhanakil and Oromo's regions even and Harari on the East of ethiopia. You have to know Issa tribes occupied immense territory than all other somalis tribes. Finanaly I want to let you know Issa representing 90% in djibouti republic which really clarified Issa got independant of this country in 1977.
