I had a similar experience when I developed a crush for a friend cause he was a really sweet and flirty person. As a hopeless romantic and overthinker, plus being confused about my sexuality, it was really bad to keep it all in my head, because all the what-ifs snowballs until you can't function. Despite all the flirty things he does, I believed he is just a straight guy, in his own ways being loving neutrally. So I confessed to him, as a means to get rejected and a reality check and also to give my emotions some form of validation and closure. But besides that I wanted to say, if there's anything I learn is, you don't have to account to anyone, sexuality is like understanding yourself, and you are but a growing human. We are all discovering new things about ourselves every day, so don't let people tell you who you are, don't feel pressured to have to give an answer :> and as you start to explore, communicating, to friends, etc, is really helpful and esp with the other party helps sorts things out rather than you not knowing how to manage these thoughts and emotions. Thanks for all the tea in this video though O_O

For the second confession- I disagree slightly cuz when A has known shes a lesbian for so long and only started to doubt after being gaslighted by her grandmother, its quite obvious what the problem is. Those sort of invalidations really start playing on your mind and make you doubt what is a part of your soul. I do agree that A could go and experiment if she's unsure but i personally feel like she's simply being gaslighted and needs more validation about her identity as a lesbian.

Sometimes we confuse being nice as being flirty. It doesn't help that the guy in the first letter is in an emotionally vulnerable state. I think the guy is still naive when it comes to love. There are only two things that can come out of this if he gets the courage to profess his love--either the friend is cool with it, but makes it clear that he's not into him and still be good friends with him, or it will, well, end his friendship. But either outcome really doesn't bode well for the guy. It's good if he does end up being friends with him despite confessing his feelings, but I reckon there will be a time where he'll be in denial and will be hurting, until then he might need to stay away from the friend.
