I think this is one of if not the best video I have ever watched of yours. That man Peter sounded like a legend, guess what. You my friend are a legend yourself. Thanks for recalling a fond memory.

What a great story. We come across these people throughout our lives for a reason. They mould us and give us guidance (even though we don’t realise it at the time). They have influence upon us and set standards that we endeavour to achieve ourselves. Keep em coming.

Ya bugger boy, that’s trust. Brilliant, love it. RIP Peter, there are not many guys like him, but in life, we all need someone who gives us the trust, respect and gratitude to help us all along. I could spend hours mate listening to the stories. Great tribute Kurt. He will be looking at you everyday smiling.

I am indeed sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. We are fortunate when we get the opportunity to make such acquaintances. You honored his legacy very well with the memories you shared. You have a gift in how you tell those stories. I love it when I'm almost certain which direction a story is going in, but just not quite completely convinced. You held us up for a minute whilst in the pub! I on the other hand, tell the moral of the story and then try to back-pedal as I begin to recount the best parts. Ruins the mood! Thank You so much for sharing this tribute. Have a great day and be blessed!

Sounds like Peter was a top bloke. The way you accidentally met in the pub must have helped you become friends rather than just business associates. I never skip past videos like this. I love old technology, but people are more important and it is always good to hear about those people that have had a positive influence on the lives of others. One of the most influential people in my life was my college lecturer, known as OD. After my initial studies I went on to become his technician, he was great to work with and he really inspired me to have a passion for electronics and vintage technology. Sadly we didn't really keep in touch (I'm terrible at such things), but I was really upset when I heard about his passing, definitely someone I will never forget.

Very good stories and memories of good old friends. Sorry for your loss friend. On a happier note.....Just today I made a connection with an old shipmate that I served with in 1965/66/67. We had lost contact and spent almost an hour on the phone today catching up. Lots of good old stories and remembering other guys...some we know that have passed and a lot of others we know noth8ng about. Put our minds to trying to find some of the others still out there. Thanks again for your memories.

R.I.P Peter, Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. Thanks for doing the memory video that was a real nice tribute, I'm sure he's smiling on you for it to. He sounds like one of those guys you just naturally got on with, and was worth the time knowing and would help anybody he liked. Over the years I've known a lot of older guys just Like him, and a few some others couldn't get along with as they didn't just click like you 2 did. my older friends like him are all a goner now but I knew it was coming with things like cancer, getting that call when you expect it's hard with somebody you got a lot of respect for. Finding out a friend like hims gone in an unexpected ways even worse. you never forget guys like him either something will happen during the day, and you go right to thinking about something they said or you did with them. take care stay safe, see you next time.
