I need to call you guys to help troubleshoot my Abbriata M50 net wrapper. After engaging the wrapping mechanism, the baler wants to keep wrapping the bale...the only way for me to stop it is to disengage the PTO, pop open the rear door, then cut the uncut net wrap with a knife. It looks like the knife edge isn't falling off the threaded shaft with as much force as it used to do. Tried cleaning/lubricating but that didn't help. Caused a major problem during my last baling session, and going through a lot of net wrap. Until this issue, the baler has been pretty much bullet-proof. Note: baler is still set to factory defaults...nothing has been changed in that regard.

Have you tried a wheel rake? I know the belt rake does do double duty as a tedder. Have you tried baling grass clippings- say overgrown 10-12 inch high grasses that were rotary cut with discharge mower. How does this system do with leaves? Please & thank you.
@Tractortoolsdirect5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. We have a few videos of our wheel rakes in action. The smaller the clippings are, the harder it will be to bale, however we have had luck doing so, including leaves! It's easier for balers to bale longer material compared to shorter clippings. We don't recommend cutting with a rotary discharge mower for hay production, however I have heard of many people doing so. I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist any further. 260-225-3429

Have you tried higher 50% 55% and up to 70% moisture hay with the baler?
@Tractortoolsdirect3 жыл бұрын
Yes, we have customers who have tried baleage. The baler is capable of baling high-moisture hay. The process would be the same as with big balers. Since baleage is trickier to get right than cured hay, we don't advertise them for that purpose, but someone with the right know-how could do it.

I would like to buy this machine, but I have an inquiry, which is whether I can control the size of the bale, how many sizes it produces, how much weight and how much it costs
@Tractortoolsdirect4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! The IBEX TX31 mini round balers have a fixed chamber that produce a bale size that is 20" x 28" and you can manipulate the bale weight via a density setting. By changing the density settings, you can produce a bale that weighs anywhere from 30-60lbs. The IBEX TX31 has 4 primary density settings and can be adjusted for smaller incremental changes as well. Let us know if you have any questions and/or if there's anything we can do to help @ 260-225-3429. Seemed like the windrows were not very good. Is that typical of this type of rake.?
@Tractortoolsdirect5 жыл бұрын
Good question. Typically a farmer is not going to experiment like we did on this field. We tried different raking heights, speeds, windrow stop widths, etc. to test out the machine. A farmer might have to make adjustments the first time but after that they would just go for it and get the job done as quickly as possible. Normally belt rakes are extremely efficient and create a fluffy, even windrow compared with other types of rake. Thanks for watching!

@@Tractortoolsdirect Will be getting substantial inheritance soon and will be purchasing acreage, etc and the Ibex string baler caught my eye. I guess a more accurate question would be can the string bales withstand getting rained on once or twice? Grandpa had a New Holland baler and I cannot tell you how many things we grandkids made from re-purposed twine....

@@Boomer-ri7du You would definitely want to get the twine wrapped bales out of the field before any rain.

a lot of hay left on the field
@Tractortoolsdirect5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. This was our first time using these new machines in a new field and we did go back through and clean up what was left behind in another video. After adjusting the height of the belt rake a bit lower to the ground it was cleaning up much better. We try to use the equipment as many ways as possible to test and see how they operate to better discuss with our customers on how to use them and what to look out for in different situations. Hope this helps, thanks again!

@Tractortoolsdirect5 жыл бұрын
@@jmbru1 Wheel rakes are great! They clean fields very nice and tend to pick up thatch and other debris as well. Belt rakes make a bit cleaner hay as they don't make direct contact with the ground. Both styles are nice and come down to personal preference. Thanks!

The one I have is a waste of money. It won’t feed the net worth a damn. I called customer service, and was told to loosen the roller springs. I backed them off as far as I could and it still won’t feed on its own. You have to hold the handle back as hard as possible to get the net to feed at all. I think the slipper belt is to sloppy to work but even when it feeds net the net just balls up under the feed rollers until it gets caught in the roller and then I have to stop and cut everything out and reseed the netting I’m going to try a smaller belt on the slipper and see if that feeds it consistently. But then I have to find a netting that is heavier and won’t ball up and get tangled just from the airflow around the rollers. Customer service said the net they ship with is crap and i should buy their better netting….. which begs the question why are you selling it with crappy netting ? Why not replace it before shipping or at least don’t sell it with net at all. Frankly I’m worried about spending more money with you guys but I don’t know where to get net for this lemon. Truly wishing I’d bought something else

Do they make a mini round baler with a hitch tongue. Now this is just me so let's not go down that road. I really don't like the 3 point hitch on it. Now I'm sure you like it but I'm not you so I don't like it. I would rather have the tongue itch on it. Just asking.
