No crimper...so you need to ted the hay right after cutting to break the hay shafts to improve drying speed

Thanks for watching and for your input. We actually sell drum mowers with conditioning systems too. In this field we used a standard non-conditioning drum mower and in fact did ted the field after cutting to improve our dry times. Check out our website to find our belt rakes, tedders, drum mowers & more @ www.tractortoolsdirect.com

perfect square field.....short hay crop....my hay is as tall as the rear wheels on a 30/20 john deere tractor my meadows are of all odd shapes and 2 to 3 acres each ....thick hay, and no room for single windrows ....lets see you work in unsavory conditions ...

Thanks for watching the video! We left ourselves a small plot to demo and test these new pieces of IBEX equipment after large round baling the outer plot for this specific video. This was actually our first cutting of hay that was thick hay and much taller than normal, by a long shot, this season due to excessive rainfall. This was our first time on this field as we try and visit different fields as often as we can to test new and unknown conditions. Let us know what all you would like to see and we'll try and make it into a video in the future for you. Thanks again!

I think you'll find a drum mower can take on any kind of hay crop, whether it's super tall or thick and blown down. I've had a similar drum mower [SIP 165] for many years, never been disappointed by it's performance.
