There might be some ifs now, but we will never know. However, I hope the teams will take coordination and tactics more serious now. It is pitty for Mrs Vollering, but she delivered at least a very good fight. Nothing was given for free here and winning on l'Alpe is something not many achieved. She can be proud of herself and should be also happy to not just have ended in hospital which was a possible outcome of her crash as well. This stage was epic. Kasia is a well deserved champion. She did not crack or overpaste on this extreme climb. It was spot on.
@hobmarg4 ай бұрын
pretty clear Demi would've won if not for the crash. She would've had a 1.5-2min gap on the stage and could've just rode the last few stages defensively (riding on Kasia's wheel, like Pog on Jonas in TdF once he had a gap) and clearly she had the fitness to do that no problem.

Tdf femme needs to improve the overall team focus, meaning more tactics, better communication 6. Women' races this year have been far far more entertaining than the men's boring dominant solo wins; Strande Bianche, Flanders, Roubaix, LBL, Giro, Olympics and now the Tour. It too easy and effortless.
