THIS WAS A TEST but we ended up deciding to publish. Sorry for the rawness in the video, we were still figuring out the logistics, we promise the others will be better! We had heard this song before, but we chose it to do as a test! NICK'S REACTION IS AMAZING!!!!
Thank you for watching! Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments and don't forget to like and subscribe. We will be posting more reactions were this came from! We welcome suggestions, so leave yours in the comments if you'd like.

RE: PAUSING, EXPRESSIONS & AIR-INSTRUMENTS:
Please be mindful that we will pause (we prefer to react in the moment & to avoid copyright strike), we will react with enthusiasm, smiles, tears, conversation, exchanged looks and air-instruments. We are expressive by nature and are truly very quirky in every sense of the word. This is who we are and this is what we’ve got to offer. We understand it may not be for everyone, but here's to hoping you all enjoy and we absolutely love positive comments and feedback.

I'm a 64 yr old hippy type who's been listening to prog rock since I was 10. Your emotional response to the music is so similar to my own. Sometimes the music just fills me up to the point where I can't even speak without bursting into tears. I've not met many people like that. It's a wonderful feeling. Don't lose it man - relish it. You have so much great music to look forward to hearing for the first time, I'm quite envious. So much I could recommend. Have fun.

"They say that there's a secret chord that David played to please the Lord, but you don't really care for music, do ya?" Sometimes it's just the right lyric with the right chord change to grab you by the heart strings! And sometimes it's listening to a song for the 2,000 time and noticing a flute or a chime you never noticed before...

This was the very last song from Woodstock 94' . I had been on site for a Month building the stages. I spent almost the whole weekend 105 ft in the air, holding the roof system together. I had maybe 2 hrs sleep the whole Festival. At about 3am Monday morning Peter Gabriel took the stage, I though I could finally relax! Wrong! The follow spot operator on the mix position had collapsed! So I made my way through the 2 ft deep mud to the mix tower and made that 60 ft climb to the top to run a Strong Super Trooper Spot Light. Most of the time for Rock, you are assigned a performer and you just keep the light on them, but not this time, the Lighting Designer had an elaborate light show with hundreds of cues! After the show we still had 7 days of high steel work to tear down!

There is also a LIVE concert on KZbin of him that I can't think of, at the moment. When I remember, I'll Edit this comment. 💜💫✌🏼🎵 OH! Great story about the title of his album, "So." You have to react to the live version. I think it's even better than the studio version.

In the words of Rick Beato, if you don't like this song, there's something wrong with you. You need to check out his musical analysis youtube channel "What Makes This Song Great". This song plays a pivotal part in the film "Say Anything". That's where I first heard the song actually.

Others on here have said it too but you really need to watch a live version. Seen him a few times and he puts on quite the show.

Back when they were listening rooms at Big Box home theater sales stores, Biko from Peter Gabriel Plays Live was one of my test tracks for profiling and vetting / disqualifying a speaker purchase based on how clear the nuances came through while there was a sustained as well as transient reproduction capability while listening for their performance ceilings on the metric of compression and distortion...... so many good tracks and I would also recommend from that 2 CD disc set Solsbury Hill among others I don't recollect at the moment as well as Don't Give Up - studio version with Kate Bush - and Blood of Eden - I believe the only version I have heard is with Sinead O'Connor

Peter's second solo album AKA "Melt" is by far my favorite and you should try it here or on your own. The power and skill of this man is amazing. Also try the Secret World video for what to me was a near religious experience.

Great test :-) I like when you talk About, how you react to Music, I like when Music gives me chills, goosebumps or even Tears. A wise man once sad, there is Music, which impresses you and there is Music that touches your heart/Soul. Perfect is when both happens at the same time, but there are not so many Songs, which do both. So I will be free in coming comments to tell you, if the band, that you are reacting to has such a "perfect" song, in my opinion.

Music is emotional, so please cry away, other great sings from Peter include Sky Blue, Moribund The Burgermeister, Biko (that should make you cry for sure), Here Comes The Flood (another possible tear jerker) and Games Without Frontiers.

If you want to explore a more unusual Peter Gabriel track, try Excellent Birds off of So. He worked with performance artist Laurie Anderson for that song. You might also give a go to Playing for Change's interpretation of Biko, which also features Peter Gabriel. Very powerful. Also, give other Playing for Change covers a run, they do an amazing job on so many songs, incorporating musicians from around the world.
