Incenter, Circumcenter and Centroid - How to easily find these points?

Incentre is the point of intersection of all angle bisectors of a triangle . They are equidistant from the sides of the triangle Circumcentre is the point of intersection of perpendicular bisectros of all sides . They are equidistant from the vertices of the triangle. Centroid is the point if intersection of the medians of all sides thats the vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side . A centroid devides a median in the ratio of 2:1.

@@poonampal693 that is true.We can also use these points to inscribe a circle inside a triangle or a triangle inside a circle.These points of intersection are the center of those circles described above. Thank you for the summary, I wish you the best in your geometry class.

I don’t think your explanation of Incenter is correct. The incenter is only equidistant from the sides of the triangle when you draw a new line segment from the incenter to the side at a right angle, thereby inscribing a circle in the triangle. Only those three “new” segments drawn from the incenter to the sides at a right angle are equal.

If we are inscribing a circle inside a triangle, the radius of the circle is the distance from the in center to the sides of a triangle.Regardless what type of triangle that is. The radius is a fix distance, therefore the distance from the in center to the side of the triangle is fix as well. I hope this clarified your question. Wish you the best in your math class.
