@robstephens actually, I'm in my late 60s. I would live there in a heartbeat. 1) I have lots of house guests in the summer, with extended family, etc. The basement and upstairs areas would get kitchenettes, and I'd add a home elevator. The garage is meh, but with the right engineers and architects, much could be accomplished. As carbon footprints are a thing, I would try to add some green credentials to this beauty 😍
@BellaMarie-1029 күн бұрын
Most 55+ communities don't allow overnight guests under 55 and have rules not allowing extended stay for over 55. I knew people who couldn't let their kids or adult grandkids stay to help after a medical emergency because of the community rules and in trying to skirt them almost lost their home. @@saadgt2009

Someone in good health could get around this house easily for 30 years at least. Large houses keep people in shape because they do a lot of walking in them. Further, if you spend a lot of time inside, it’s nice to have plenty of rooms, especially if you had a big family and get a lot of visitors.

In the 70s my high school friends family, lived in a " swanky" house with many features like these and wood, not the height of ceilings, but they had 6 kids but it was multilevels with bedrooms and bathrooms tucked everywhere, and new then skylights, and then the backyard was 90% swimming pool. As teens we were so impressed by that " modern house then". Suburb of Toronto.

The appliance in the butler’s pantry could be an ice maker, but since it’s kind of near the laundry it might also be an autoclave. I think it’s more likely to be that than an ice maker. The ice would fall out given the door design.

Stunning house, 😍 BTW, that was a DRY bar (unusual, considering how much was spent on everything else) in the basement. Like my parents' home, the ground floor bed/bath/den area was probably a master suite, while the upstairs split bath & bidet would have been for European guests. People comment they'd do away with the wallpaper but everything is in monotones, designed to showcase the inhabitants. With money, that garage could be expanded with lifts, no? Keep up these videos, please 😍🖖🙏

Definitely shouts upper-end "Colorado" to me. The vaulted ceilings, the stairs, the downstairs bedroom, the garage as the front focal point... Sure, these happen everywhere, but they are ubiquitous in CO. It is definitely way above the norm in terms of features - features I wouldn't need. A butler's pantry, wow.
