This might sound corny, but because life in the US is so, so stressful right now, these videos have come to mean so much to me. I love feeling like I'm walking along with you and these beautiful animals. It's wonderful to have the opportunity to get to know the individuals in the herd. I'm so glad you post frequently. Thank you so much.

I love how Khanyisa becomes one of the herd when with them. Meaning that she knows that's where she belongs. That she is not a "pet" to the humans, constantly seeking human attention. A wonderful reflection on the fantastic job HERD does rehabilitating the orphans.❤

Yes! Just saw some Asian orphan elephants in a very different situation. Granted, there were too many in number to foster as Khanyisa has been, but I don't know if these babies will ever know how to negotiate in nature because of the group nursery setting they're in. Still very glad they were rescued, though. ♡♡♡

While it's perfectly understandable that an animal raised by/around humans for most of its life would be able to understand and follow commands, it still astounds me. Of course they're extremely smart, but it seems to be a step above to tell such a magnificent creature to move the tree out of the road ... and he does it. I used to train service dogs, and it was so gratifying to see them follow commands, but it's something else to see an elephant do it.

How Awesome was that to see Somopane push at the tree, and get it pushed over.... He has a couple of branches to nibble on then walks away... Forbes telling Somopane to push the tree out of the way... and with no problem, he pushes the tree out of the way..... Their strength is so mind blowingly awesome... What would take a Tractor for us as Human's to use to move that tree... Adine that was so awesome to See.. Somopane walks to You as if to say "I did it for You Mom" How awesome to witness the strength of the Elephant's and see how they understand what You are asking them, or saying to them.... That was SPECTACULAR to see... 💫🌟🐘🌟💫 It's so fantastic to hear their footsteps on the sand roads.... I can listen to that for hours... 💫🌟🐘❤🐘💫🌟

I'm a life-long student of human and animal behavior and I'm always captivated by the elephant's constant touching of each other with their bodies, especially with their trunks. They are true cuddle bugs -- they love physical contact with each other no matter how often it is or how casual it is. This is probably related to their ability to never step on or accidentally crush the babies in the group -- the slightest touch let's them know where a vulnerable one is. It must also be an outgrowth of elephants not being able to turn their heads around by much -- the only way for them to see what is behind them (or nearly behind them) is to turn their whole bodies around -- knowing exactly where an infant is by touch and not by seeing it with eyes.

What a lovely way to spend your day - with the elephants! When I saw Khanyisa I thought she'd grown, but then Lundi/Limpopo walked up beside her and I saw how tiny she is! It's wonderful how ALL the HERD love her and are so gentle with her. You, Adine, are super special in my book, because of what you do to take care of these majestic, intelligent beings! They listen to your requests to the point of pushing a fallen tree out of the way (felled by one of them) when told by you to "Push!" Everything is so well organized by you, that Khanyisa gets her mid-morning and midday milk bottles brought on time in an insulated backpack by the "angel" Carers! Wonderful! Such a comfort to know you are there protecting these beautiful ellies! God bless and keep you and the HERD safe!

Hello! This is MY VERY FIRST COMMENT IVE EVER POSTED ON YT! I have sooo many things I want to say but for now I want to let you know that it’s because of YOU is the reason why I FINALLY joined YT! I just HAD to let you know that as a viewer of EVERY video you have posted, YOU have allowed ALL of us to be part of the JABULANI HERD…and I look forward to EVERY video! The reason why is because YOU have allowed ALL of us to hear every elephant footstep, to every branch snap, to every brush of leafs brush up against the elephants, and to hear them as they approach the dam and put their trunks in the water! And of course to hear the ADORABLE sounds of little Miss SUNSHINE, Khanyisa makes as she suckles on Lundi and Bubi to the sweet sounds she makes when the CARERS give her a bottle! And now, to us hearing the sounds when Somopane breaks down a TREE! All this makes us get a real feel of what it’s like to be part of YOUR HERD! I live in ONTARIO, CANADA and I, like ALL OF US HERE, I ADORE ELEPHANTS! Obviously elephants are not in my neck of the woods! So, the only way I can get any idea of what’s it’s like to walk amongst these MAGNIFICENT MAMMALS is through YOUR videos! I would also like to add at how much I LOVEEEE you DO NOT ADD MUSIC! Allowing the silence to take place is also INCREDIBLE because it allows us to ALL to hear just how silent 19 elephants are as they go out for their daily walks on the reserve! I NEVER knew how quite it can be to walk amongst 19 ELEPHANTS! I also want to add how I let the commercials completely run on YOUR CHANNEL, I hope this helps YOU out and I hope ALL YOUR VIEWERS can do the same! I want to let YOU ALL know that even though we are not there with you, we are ALL there in SPIRIT…part of the JABULANI HERD! I also have to say a BIG Congrats! On not only are we ALL watching little KHANYISA get bigger, but we are also watching YOUR CHANNEL get bigger! You were just at 10k and within just THREE WEEKS your channel has grown to 19k… and still climbing! And it will continue to do so! SENDING EVERYONE WITHIN THE JABULANI HERD LOTS OF ❤️ LOVE FROM CANADA AND AROUND THE WORLD …and that includes EVERY CARER to Lammie and NANDI too!Oh,and I should mention TOKWE the MATRIARCH out of respect! AND little TIMISA as well! I don’t want her to feel left out! And of course EVERY elephant in between! YOU have made not only the elephants part of a HERD but ALL of us FROM AROUND THE WORLD part of THE JABULANI HERD! EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU ARE EXTREMELY SPECIAL and are making a HUGE impact on the elephants lives…but on ALL of US AROUND THE WORLD! Thank YOU ALL SO VERY VERY VERYYYY MUCH!

Interesting to see how several of the Herd, including Timi, were curious about the broken tree. And so Lundi's behaviour was most likely excitement at seeing Adine? That's sweet. This is one of the best videos I have seen so far. There is something so beautiful about watching the elephants walking peacefully together on their journey, their feet gently touching the earth. I have always called them the caretakers of the earth. It was also nice to see the carers in the video as well as we often hear their voices but rarely their faces. They play such a big part in the care of the elephants that it would be nice to see them more often on the walks.

After reading the description and watching the video again. WOW, what a moment with Andine and this herd. Lundi's emotional arrival into the scene where Somopane and Andine were working to clean up a tree, with Somopane turning around to make sure Lundi's approach was friendly thereby protecting Andine was so indicative of how this herd takes care of one another. It shows Andine and all the carers are part of this herd. When the other elephant ladies arrived on the scene, they too recognized this was a special moment. They greeted Lundi and Andine with respect. Even Khanyisa participated in the greeting as a herd elephant not she usually does by barreling head long into Andine and lovinging on her. Bravo to HERD and to Jubulani! Much respect. GUT JOB!

A perfect video thank you so much. Everyone seemed so relaxed today and Khanyisa's bodyguards doing a great job. Good to see Xander advertising staying at Jabulani!

This is our pretty pink baby girls family. All of them are so beautiful. Princess K's mom Lundi, and all of her aunt's. Sweet big sister Timisa, and all of their protectors. The elephant Prince and Kings. Simply beautiful. I'm so grateful Adine and the keepers let us be a part of the Herd. ❤

LOVE these LOOOOOOOOOOONG EXTENDED meet and greet video occasions - in this instance when they all show joy at meeting up and interactiong with Somopane. All the interactions demonstrate their respect for each other and the joy they communicate towards each other.
