I visited Israel in April 2016 for two weeks and I don't think I've ever felt more alive. The whole country is flowing with beautifully chaotic culture and energy. Watching this makes me want to go back.

Tourists often fall on their faces, missing the good stuff, and unfortunately get a bad experience and a bad opinion on places they go to. As a Israeli, I think you actually did it good, and I'm greatful for you guys, showing the good sides of my beloved country. God bless you!

@SiaBasma Israel is a multicultural society. The fact that many Jews moved there in the past decades created a very unique food experience. I have lived in many places and I can assure you that the food over there is very unique. It's clear from your messages you truly hate Israel so you do not have the capability to talk about this matter from a non biased perspective.

I just LOVE that you can walk into a shop in so many countries and just cook with them & experience what they do, and they love to teach you and have fun with it. In Canada, at least with my experience being from Ontario and having lived in Alberta, that just does not happen. You can't just walk into a shop as a foreigner and be like "Can I try that?", it's just so not a thing. I love in your food tours when this happens it's so unique and fun!!! Love you guys xoxo

I was born in Israel but raised in the U.S., been back to Israel all throughout my life not as often as I should, but I LOVE that you guys made this video. It shows Americans who barely have a clue about what Israel life is like, a glimpse just of the Old City and how magical that place truly is. I myself am from Tel Aviv which is like South Beach Miami of the Mediterranean, so Tel Aviv is obviously a totally different vibe than the old city Jerusalem, but at least people can see now all over the world, how much fun such an ancient city still is even today. Awesome video guys. In Hebrew we say “Metzu-yhan” 👏🏼😊🙏🏼🇮🇱🇺🇸

This is very interesting! I see a lot of similarities to the Greek cuisine and even the music has a lot of the same qualities! Awesome content as usual!

U defenetly right, greek food pretty much reminds israeli cousine, we have many dishes which are pretty much the same just in other presentation, strating from cheeses, olive oils, breads, pasteries, baklawa, shawarma (gyro in greek).

Laughed so hard at your pronounciation. Love that you loved the food, but the names... other than Falafel.... omg, sooo funny to see you strugling with those. Who knew we had so many food-words with throughty 'H' and 'CH' sounds. 😂

My tastebuds seem to be changing during this quarantine I realize I want to explore more foods and even more places. I think it was coming cause I realized I stopped liking some foods and wanted different experiences before, but all these foods look so good! I never been out of the U.S but when I do Israel is my first choice in Countries and I’m excited about the food.

Loved the video - you guys have a great style. I even enjoyed the inclusion of the bloopers at end - it really helped see the humanity of what you're doing. One suggestion though: while the food looked awesome, apart from once when you stepped back to show the sign of Ja'far Sweets, you didn't really give the names of most of the places you ate at, making them super hard to find. Which is a pity - because much of the food looked sooo good! Also, it's super helpful to see the name of a restaurant in writing, because sometimes it's hard to get the spelling (so you can look it up on Google etc) from simply verbalising words we are not familiar with. So thanks again - definitely a good video.

Hi! I live in Jerusalem, off the top of my head these are the places they visited (I recognized them right away), besides the stops in the old city which I’m not familiar with: 1. Chatzot (grilled meat)- on Agripas street. 2. Aricha Sabich 3. Etrog man (in the market) 4. Jachnun bar (in the market) 5. Marzipan (on Agripas st.) 6. I don’t know the name of the cheese bourekas place, it’s next to Marzipan though on the corner of Agripas and כי״ח street. Come visit!

I've been to Jerusalem twice in 2018 1st for rush hashana and for Hanukkah the 2nd time The people were wonderful their kids were even better and the sights to see our life changing! To walk in the same places our Savior walked is moving and it is a trip you will never forget. After you leave you will never stop thinking about going back. Hopefully I will be able to go back some day but since I'm not taking the shot for the flu then that means I won't get to go anywhere apparently So I'll be leaving California I will be going the back roads and probly end up somewhere in Canada But if you have the time and the money do go to Israel it is phenomenal! Well done Kara and Nate :)
