The Tatra model T 815 has long been replaced by the T 815-7 model, it is supplied to the army in 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 configurations and for special purposes also 10x10 or 12x12. The Army of the Czech Republic buys them with a ballistic cabin. The Belgian army has ordered several hundred CF Military vehicles, these vehicles have a Tatra chassis, 60% of which will have a MAN cabin and 40% a TATRA ballistic cabin. The Belgian army requires PACCAR engines. The gearboxes will be either TATRA or ZF. Tatra vehicles are used by India and Israel, for example, and Nexter also buys chassis for APC. Tatra has the best chassis of military vehicles, where others do not pass the Tatra passes.

Pretty much yes… The Mack is cool… but not much… The scania french tanker is mind boggling on many level. Firstly, the French have Renault Trucks and Renault Truck Defense who can perfectly provide the tractor. Can be sure it’s a european “free market” law that obliged them to crap on their own brand like a psycho stepmother abusing the husband former children… Then you have the machine gun on top of the cab. On a tanker truck Which is the last vehicle to be in or around in case of ambush/firefight…

Tatra with its unique chassis is the BEST truck in the Solar System and most likely throughout the galaxy. Please also note SPG Dita, Titus, Patriot. All these vehicles are based on this unique chassis solution. That is why, as my colleague before me says: "Where the second best truck ends, that 'TATRA' begins. We Czechs say , "TATRA does not know its own brother". Yes, too much is special.

Torque is more important than HP with big trucks. HP correlates to highway speeds and torque to grunt power in towing and payload. Torque gets you going, HP maintains speed.
