@jamescool7419 The voice actor is "desperately unrehearsed" since he declaimed "lives" as one would say "one lives" and not as "a cat has 9 lives." If you speak it the latter way, the saying should go: "8 lives for the man and 9 lives for the woman." It is deeper than I am, for I am a gael of scots (tartan for ervin) and not gael of Eire (Ireland) but perhaps it means that women generally live a little longer than men? After that, you're on your own, beats me. Direct any other prayer requests to St. Paddy, saying "Erin go bragh." All the best! ("Kind words never broke a mouth..." that's a great 1 !)

Love is a two way interaction. Only the ratio is not always equal. But to marry someone whom you dont love at all is a kind of stupid drama that you have to act in front of your spouse, family members and friends. The pain is within you although your spouse gives a lot of money. Unless you are a true gold digger.

@@danielazubcic8356 well said 👏 👍 😊 absolutely agree! Takes 2 to love and respect eachother, aswell as decide to marry each other. Definitely takes both man & woman aswell as others be it woman and woman too. 2 people must be inlove with each other for any marriage to work beautiful . 💑.

I usually don't hold back my tongue when I'm around a friend, since it shows that I'm just true, not mean. It's better that I'm the one who will remind them on what to change for themselves, than being gossiped around by those other friends of them who, at the same time, smiling in front of them. 🙂 It became my principle in friendship. 🙂

These are some beautiful wisdoms from the Irish. They truly reflect well of the beautiful land with beautiful people. Some of the sayings were very much in alignment with the sayings of Prophet Muhammad which makes one appreciate them ever much more ♥️ *A friends eye is a good mirror* - Irish proverb The companion of the Prophet - Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The believer is a mirror to his faithful brother. He protects him against loss and defends him behind his back.” Abu Huraira said, “The believer is a mirror to his brother. If he sees something wrong in him, he should correct it.” Source: al-Adab al-Mufrad 239 *I complained I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet* - Irish proverb Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Look at those below you and do not look at those above you, for it is the best way not to belittle the favors of Allah.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6490, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2963 *The full stomach does not understand the empty one* - Irish proverb Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbor to his side goes hungry.” Source: al-Sunan al-Kubrá 19049 *Better to be a man of character than a man of means* - Irish proverb Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Abu Dharr, do you say an abundance of possessions is wealth?” I said yes. The Prophet said, “Do you say a lack of possessions is poverty?” I said yes. The Prophet repeated this three times, then he said, “Wealth is in the heart and poverty is in the heart. Whoever is wealthy in his heart will not be harmed no matter what happens in the world. Whoever is impoverished in his heart will not be satisfied no matter how much he has in the world. Verily, he will only be harmed by the greed of his own soul.” Source: al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 1643

I would never marry someone I don't love. Love isn't just word's. You need to feel a connection with that person. Even before marrying them you have to know deep down this person is yours. That they were created for you. And you both have to feel that way too. It's not a one way feeling or what I call a knowing. It could have thousands of men/women wanting to be with you. But there's that one person you know is yours. And they know it too.

If Both are following the proverb, then the love will be far more complete and fulfilling, like you are trying to describe. Always be more concerned about the feelings and needs of the other than your own. Or in other words look outward. The proverb could be suggesting that if you are more concerned about your own passion and desire, then your selfishness will lead to a quick separation anyway.

Stay single. The love you are describing is a romantic love, not an enduring love. This love is only practical in fairy tales, not in real life. Have you ever wondered why 80% of divorces in the United States are initiated by women? The same percentage of women die single.
@nicenice...2 жыл бұрын
@@disciple15 There are people who infact have found what I mentioned above including me. Which is why I was able to describe it in such a way. And not because you haven't, does not mean it's non-existent. A connection is not physical. It's spirutal. Many did find such love and didn't accept it, either because they've been hurt before or they don't believe it's real and have low self esteem. Some people rather rush into relationships which is not for them. Then say real love does not exist.
