They did "change" but only in the way of trying a few new things and different musical directions while still maintaining their sounds respectively. Deftones are my forever band. I had adrenaline, their first album when it was the only album they had and I've bought all 8 albums after that the very day they came out and pre-ordered 6 of those. I was 12 years old when I had the debut and I'm now 35 and love the last album they just dropped "Ohms" it's in my top 3. I'm not as big of a fan of incubus' new material I must admit, but upon giving this album, "8" another shot I will say it's damn good and was a grower for me. No matter what people say about incubus you have to admit they are amazingly talented musicians. Very happy 2 of my favorite bands are still going strong in their 50s and cranking out quality music that I still love now pushing 40 as I did when I was just a wee little pre-teen. It's pretty damn wild if you think about it! Here's hoping they both keep going another 20+ years!!! (RIP CHI CHENG) 🤘🏽🤙🏽
